Giuliana Rancic Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Giuliana Rancic has cancer.

The E! personality had an announcement to make during a Monday appearance on Today, which we expected to be a joyous one: That she was pregnant at last.

That made the actual announcement all the more heartbreaking. "I have early stage breast cancer," the 37-year-old told Today host Ann Curry, adding that her doctor made the frightening discovery back in August as she was about to begin IVF.

Rancic explained that her doctor sternly insisted that she get a mammogram before going through with the third IVF treatment. That might have saved her life.

The star, who said she has no family history of breast cancer, "wasn't prepared to get a mammogram until I was 40 years old," she admitted.

"I never in my wildest dreams expected anything to be wrong."

When the hospital called a few days later to tell her the shocking news, Rancic says she was "sobbing... It was like the world just crashed around me."

Prince Harry Throws it Down in San Diego

There was no daring pool party rescue required this time, but Prince Harry still had an eventful night out Saturday at the Belly Up Tavern in Solona Beach, Calif.

"He was here!" Meryl Klemow, Belly Up's manager says, adding that Harry showed up around 9 p.m. with about ten folks, including two "very attractive" young women around his age, neither of whom were "romantic" with Harry or anyone else.

Ladies everywhere, you may now exhale.

Although Harry and his pals drank beer and tequila, the real agenda of the night was music! "He was watching the bands and really loved the music," Klemow said.

"It seems like Harry and his cohorts were taking a long time to drink their drinks. He was mostly just enjoying the music and drinking was more a side thing."

"He seemed very jovial and joking around and he is a very good dancer. He has some good moves, and whoever taught him to dance did a good job!"

Although most of Harry's two months in the states will be devoted to military training, he will have a few more chances to let loose in the coming weeks.

The single prince split with Chelsy Davy earlier this year.

Sesame Street YouTube Page Hacked, Replaced With Porn Clips

As if kids these days don't have enough exposure to X-rated material, someone hijacked Sesame Street's YouTube page and reprogrammed it with X-rated videos.

Christopher Chaney is not believed to be one of the perv hacker(s).

For a brief period Sunday, the show page for the popular kids’ series was overrun by porn hackers who made it display highly sexual videos instead. Yikes.

BERT & ERNIE: This photo has nothing to do with the story you're reading here. But in other Sesame Street news, they are apparently just friends, in case you were curious.

The page was immediately taken down, and the site instead told users it was briefly offline “due to repeated or severe violations of our community guidelines.”

An apology was issued shortly thereafter.

“Our channel was compromised and we are presently working with YouTube/Google to restore our original content,” Sesame Workshop said in a statement.

Padma Lakshmi vs. Adam Dell: Sides Speak Out

Padma Lakshmi is an expert in the kitchen, but the model/author has been taken to court by ex-boyfriend Adam Dell.

This venture capitalist has filed a lawsuit against the Top Chef host and is seeking custody of the pair's daughter, Krishna. At issue? How much time Dell can spend with her after she turns a year old next month.

"Adam Dell, above all else, wants to have an active and substantial role in the upbringing of his daughter with Padma Lakshmi," his lawyer tells The New York Post. "Mr. Dell has tried his best to avoid going to court."

While a rep for Lakshmi says she wants this matter to remain private, the star's attorney, Jay D. Silverstein, has released the following statement:

"The facts in the court papers are inaccurate and misleading. Ms. Lakshmi looks forward to correcting the record in the courts, not the press. She is saddened and gravely disappointed that Mr. Dell has chosen a very public means of filing his petition with the court rather than doing so in a confidential or sealed manner which is customary in cases involving a very young child.

"Ms. Lakshmi believes that the manner in which the papers were filed as well their dissemination to the media is antithetical to the welfare and long term emotional well being of their daughter."

Jake signs an autograph for someone who needs a hobby.

After appearing on The Bachelorette, starring as The Bachelor and competing on Dancing With the Stars, Jake Pavelka is trying to launch a real acting career.

Today, he appeared on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.

"I play a pilot," said Pavelka, who is/was a pilot before becoming a professional reality star. "What's ironic is that it's harder to play a pilot than to be a pilot!"

Pavelka was offered the role in part because B&B producer Brad Bell flies planes, too. "He's a pilot himself and we had a whole lot in common," says Pavelka.

Debbie Gibson knows a thing or two dozen about success as a teenager.

At the age of 17, she became the youngest singer to write, produce and release a number-one hit on the Billboard 100. So at least this 40-year old is speaking from experience when she says of Justin Bieber's fame:

"It's too much too soon. People have to remember, even though a kid can be wise beyond their years professionally and can handle showbiz, emotionally you're not developed."

Justin Bieber is mature for his age. The kid has a mustache!

Gibson only has Bieber's best interest in mind, fearing the cute idol will "lose his sanity" at this rate, although Justin says he's already there.

"If I could get all these kids in a room, I'd tell them you're not superhuman," Gibson told E! News. "If you need to take a week off, take a week off. Everybody makes you think the world will end and it won't. If you say no, you save your sanity later."

Bieber, of course, has no plans to slow down. His 3D biopic hits theaters in February. So far, this 16-year appears to have his head on straight, although the same thing can't always be said of his fans.

The 17-year old from Gering, Nebraska was named the youngest champion of all-time on Saturday night, earning the crown by performing "White Water Chopsticks" on the piano. She was the only contestant to neither sing nor dance.

A graduate of Scottsbluff High School, Scanlan has earned a $50,000 scholarship and will attend Patrick Henry College in the fall.

Kanye West pulled a Kanye West and trash talked Britney Spears and her #1 single, "Hold it Against Me," on Twitter. Jokingly, we think. Mostly.

"Yo Britney, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z's single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL,” Kanye wrote.

West's Tweet, of course, is a reference to his infamous Taylor Swift MTV VMA speech hijacking and to Kanye’s new song "H.A.M." (featuring Jay-Z).

While West later removed the Tweet, Spears' manager Adam Leber appeared none too impressed when he responded on the pop singer's behalf.

"Thanks for 'letting' us be #1," Leber wrote. "Much appreciated."

West later apologized for it, telling fans, "On a serious note I'm truly happy for Britney Spears. No hate in 2011... I thought LOL signified a joke."

Typically yes, but when you're a total loose cannon, sometimes the public won't automatically assume you're lighthearted or poking fun at yourself.

The MTV celebrity has no tolerance for stars who won't "man up" to having work done, writing "Funny how stars don't man up to plastic surgery."

"I did. Blaming it on colds, etc. is just hysterical. Get real!"

Amusingly, Heidi Montag, who famously underwent 10 plastic surgeries in one day, re-tweeted this comment. Kim says she's never tried to hide anything.

"I'm the first one to talk about anything that I do," she told Extra. "It really pisses me off that all of these plastic surgery rumors are always linked to me."

Brooke Mueller Leaves Sober Living House

Reports confirm that Brooke Mueller has left the sober living house into which she checked late last year.

"Her treatment team felt that she is ready to leave and go back home," a source tells Radar Online, adding that Brooke has since "been enjoying spending time with her twins."

The insider says Mueller now has a "very positive outlook for the future." The hardest part of the experience?

On the day Barack Obama delivered a moving address at the Arizona memorial service for the victims of last week's tragic shooting in Tuscon, new information about Jared Lee Loughner was revealed.

According to police records, the 22-year old accused of killing six people and seriously wounding Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was arrested twice as a juvenile, once for marijuana possession and once for possession of alcohol.

The first incident occurred in May 2006, when Loughner was admitted to the emergency room after consuming a bottle of vodka he later said he stole from his parents because he became “very upset after his dad yelled” at him.

The second arrest took place in September 2007 following a traffic stop that resulted in cops discovering a joint in Loughner's ashtray and a pipe in his pocket.

Loughner was also the victim of bullying on more than one occasion.

In September 2004, police were called to Mountain View High School after Loughner was "stuck with a pin – a stolen type needle, in the cafeteria," according to official reports.

Finally, in October 2008, Loughner contacted local police because he believed a former friend had posted a fake, disparaging MySpace profile about him.

No action was taken, and none of this is meant as an excuse for Loughner's alleged, horrific actions. It's simply a look into the history of a seriously troubled young man.

Did Michael Jackson Subject Blanket to Unnecessary Anesthesia?

A fatal dose of the anesthetic Propofol led to the demise of Michael Jackson, and Dr. Conrad Murray will be tried for involuntary manslaughter as a result.

Part of Murray's defense may be Jackson pressuring, even begging him for drugs. While this story is separate, it may speak to MJ's power of persuasion.

According to a TMZ report, Michael subjected one of his kids - Blanket - to the same kind of risky, unorthodox medical treatment that later killed him.

In 2008, Michael reportedly cajoled a Las Vegas dentist into performing a procedure on Blanket in which he was put under anesthesia for two hours in a dental office.

An office that did not have the necessary permit for anesthesia.

The Nevada Board of Dental Examiners kept records of MJ's interactions with Dr. Mark Tadrissi, who initially refused to work on Blanket due to the lack of permit.

According to the Board's investigator, MJ didn't want to hear about permits and told the doctor, "Have an anesthesiologist do whatever type of sedation required."

Tadrissi capitulated and performed the two-hour procedure on Blanket, who was just six at the time. An anesthesiologist had Blanket sedated the entire time.

Here's where it gets even weirder.

The Board learned of Tadrissi's actions after Michael died and initiated disciplinary action against Tadrissi for allowing Blanket to be anesthetized in his office.

The Board also went after Dr. Tadrissi for allowing Jackson to receive - you guessed it - Propofol in his office, without the proper permit for that drug either.

Dr. Tadrissi was sanctioned in 2010.

In a draft of the report, the Board based sanctions on his treatment of Blanket and Michael. However, in the final version of the report Blanket was absent.

There is no mention of the boy or his treatment.

A source connected with the investigation says pressure was put on the Board to omit Blanket from the report. From who, it's very much unclear.

All that is clear is that Michael Jackson got what he wanted when it came to risky medical procedures, and may have put his youngest at risk.

Lawrence Taylor Cops Plea, Avoids Jail in Rape Case

Lawrence Taylor pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor sex charges today in connection with his arrest in May for soliciting an underage prostitute.

In return for his plea, the former NFL great will avoid jail time and be subject to six years probation. He must also register as a sex offender.

Taylor pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute.

He was arrested last May outside a New York motel and accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl police said had been prostituted against her will.

Taylor told the court that the victim told him she was 19.

Police said he had sex, for which he paid $300, with the 16-year-old whom officials said pimp Rasheed Davis had forced into prostitution.

Police later arrested Davis, who pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking. Taylor was originally charged with felony rape in the case.

50 Cent made a fortune from rapping, but that doesn't mean he's content to rest on his laurels and Tweet photos of himself with stacks of cash all day.

Okay, well he does do that a fair amount But our point is that 50, a.k.a. Curtis Jackson, is proving quite the businessman in addition to entertainer.

MAKIN' BANK: Chelsea Handler must be attracted to more than his rap skills.

50 Cent recently Tweeted about a penny stock company he's invested in ... one that's up 290 percent since he pitched the stock tip to 3.8 million followers.

"You can double your money right now. Just get what you can afford," 50 tweeted about a Florida company, H&H Imports. "They are no joke get in now."

He received 30 million shares of H&H in a private placement last October, buying portions of his stake at 15 cents, 25 cents and - no kidding - 50 cents.

H&H closed up 29 cents the other day, boosting Jackson's 30 million-share stake by $8.7 million. Might he have a second career as a financial advisor?

This wasn't his first foray into the investment world either.

Earlier this month, Jackson also "personally endorsed" a line of mobile audio products that are made by another Florida company, Sleek Audio, H&H said.

Oksana Grigorieva on Bribe Allegation: I'm Broke!

Accused of bribing a witness by Mel Gibson's legal team, Oksana Grigorieva says she couldn't bribe anybody if she wanted too ... she couldn't pay for it.

Oksana has categorically denied the claim alleged by Mel's attorneys (via Radar Online) that she tried to bribe a witness in her legal battle with Gibson.

Said her spokesman: “The suggestion is false. She never bribed anyone. She understands the law and has excellent counsel. Besides, she is broke.”

We wouldn't put it past her, but she does have a point.

Yesterday, we reported how lawyers for Gibson, who has alleged that Oksana tried to extort him, plan to present evidence that she tried to bribe a witness.

The individual, whose identity is not yet known, is somehow relevant in both the criminal and family law probes that are ongoing in the couple's skirmish.

Mel also charges that Oksana is malicious and not acting in the best interests of their one-year-old daughter, and should therefore lose custody ASAP.

Judge Orders Conrad Murray to Stand Trial in Death of Michael Jackson, Suspends Doctor's License

Dr. Conrad Murray will be tried in the death of Michael Jackson. Judge Michael Pastor said sufficient evidence was presented at the preliminary hearing.

While completely expected, this marks a significant development, as the case against Murray on involuntary manslaughter charges proved compelling.

Deputy D.A. David Walgren told the judge in his closing argument that, "It was not Michael Jackson's time to go" and that Conrad Murray is responsible.

As expected, Dr. Murray will stand trial for MJ's demise.

"Michael Jackson is not here today because of the negligence and reckless acts of Dr. Murray," said Walgren of the defendant, who sat stone-faced.

Walgren said Murray cared more about hiding evidence than helping MJ.

Judge Pastor's ruling followed a six-day preliminary hearing in which more than 20 witnesses were called. Murray's medical license was also suspended.

Murray's lawyer, Ed Chernoff, tells TMZ, "We are disappointed but not surprised. We knew we would be in trial and that's where we're going to end up."

Chernoff's defense theory, that Michael Jackson killed himself, has not fully been extrapolated upon, but he did put out feelers last week and this week.

The D.A. appears ready for it, however, calling a doctor who says that even if Jackson administered the fatal dose, it's still homicide and Murray's fault.

Judge Michael Pastor ordered the suspension as a condition to Dr. Murray's bail. The Medical Board of California asked for the suspension repeatedly.

Dr. Murray has 24 hours to notify the medical boards in Texas and Nevada, where he was licensed to practice up until now, of Judge Pastor's decision.

Murray's team says he needs to work to afford counsel, and believes the move is a power play designed to take away his right to defend himself.

Not likely, as the evidence against him suggests gross mistreatment. It also wasn't revoked, but suspended. If he were acquitted, he'd get it back.

It is worth noting that Murray is still innocent until proven guilty and convicted by a jury of his peers. All this did was establish that a trial is warranted.

The movie offers continue to come in for Miley Cyrus.

First, her mother reportedly optioned the rights for a music video to be made into a feature-length film.

Now, the screenwriter behind Disturbia and Paranormal Activity 2 has said in a new interview that he hopes to work with Cyrus on "Wake," a big screen version of Lisa McMann's book series.

"It's sort of a vehicle for Miley Cyrus," Landon says. "She is looking to sort of get out of her cutesy Hannah Montana image... She wanted to do something a little edgier and a little darker, so we're making this movie hopefully... It's about a teenage girl who has a rare form of narcalepsy. When she's within a certain distance of someone sleeping, she passes out and goes into their dreams."

Landon says there's "definitely a spooky element to it."

Jewish Groups Refudiate Sarah Palin "Blood Libel" Remark

Sarah Palin's video response to the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords prompted a strong backlash from some members of America's Jewish community. Why?

The former Alaska Governor accused the media of manufacturing a "blood libel" that only incites the hatred and violence they condemn. Fair enough, except ...

"Blood libel" is a term apparently dating back to the Middle Ages, referring to a prejudice that Jewish people used Christian blood during religious rituals.

David Harris of the National Democratic Jewish Council said that instead of dialing down the rhetoric, Palin "chose to accuse others trying to sort out the meaning of this tragedy of somehow engaging in a 'blood libel' against her and others."

Harris called the repeated fiction of blood libels "directly responsible for the murder of so many Jews across centuries - and given that blood libels are so intertwined with deeply ingrained anti-Semitism around the globe, even today."

He wasn't alone in echoing this sentiment.

"The term 'blood libel' is not a synonym for 'false accusation,'" added Simon Greer of Jewish Funds for Justice. "It refers to a specific falsehood perpetuated by Christians about Jews for centuries" that sparked violence and discrimination.

"Unless someone has been accusing Ms. Palin of killing Christian babies and making matzoh from their blood, her use of the term is totally out of line."

U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona, who was shot in the head (allegedly by Jared Lee Loughner) and remained in critical condition, is Jewish.

Criticism over her crosshairs map that infamously targeted Giffords during the 2010 elections prompted the comments by Sarah today (below).

Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, was sure to note that "it was inappropriate at the outset to blame Sarah Palin and others for causing this tragedy or for being an accessory to murder."

"Palin has every right to defend herself and we agree with her that [our best tradition] is one of finding common ground despite our differences," he said.

"Still, we wish that Palin had not invoked the phrase 'blood libel' in reference to the actions of journalists in placing blame for the shooting on others."

"While the term 'blood libel' has become part of the English parlance to refer to someone being falsely accused, we wish that Palin had used another phrase, instead of one so fraught with pain in Jewish history."

Actor Edward Furlong was arrested yesterday for violating a domestic restraining order. Not only that, he's behind in child support ... and he's broke.

Ed told a judge this morning, "I'm out of money. I'm completely broke."

Furlong, 33, currently stars in the upcoming film The Green Hornet.

FOR LONG: Doesn't sound like Ed's troubles are going away soon.

A month behind in child support, Ed lamented that he has to pay 10 percent to his lawyer, 10 percent to his publicist and 10 percent to his manager.

Think about it. After that, he only has 70 percent of his earnings to blow on stuff other than his kid ... how the heck is he supposed to get by, man?

In his defense, sort of, Furlong says the judge never took this into account when ordering the child support his ex, Rachael Kneeland, requested.

She's requested that he up that sum and spousal support.

The judge didn't decide whether to modify the support agreement, so it remains as is for now. Things aren't looking so hot for Furlong in any case.

Furlong was taken into custody yesterday, after allegedly violating a restraining order by getting too close to Kneeland. Sounds like a fun situation.

D.A. Won't Let Lindsay Lohan Rehab Fight Slide

Nevertheless, the Riverside County D.A. won't let it slide.

The push to prove Lohan's probation was violated continue, as the D.A. wants further investigation into LiLo's alleged melee at Betty Ford.

Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab, but not out of the woods.

District Attorney-Elect Paul Zellerbach met with his lead investigator and prosecutor this morning to talk about Lindsay's altercation with Dawn Holland.

Here's why officials may be out to get Lindsay only to send a message:

Only the Beverly Hills judge in her DUI case can revoke probation.
Dawn herself has said she doesn't want Lohan prosecuted.
The dude who was with her that night says she was clean.

Just the same, the DA's office says it wants more info to decide whether to charge Lindsay and seems bent on pushing the matter further. Stay tuned.

Phaedra prepped for Aydan's baby debut by hosting a (traditional Southern?) "Sip & See" party. Not only is Phaedra a lawyer/businesswoman/Renaissance Goddess, but she's also Atlanta's answer to Martha Stewart.

Chatting with Apollo, she worried that her guests may just be attending the party for gossip material. Apparently, Atlanta is "Haterville" and since Phaedra and Apollo are too fabulous for words, they're on everyone's hit list.

Cynthia and 50-year-old Peter had a tense dinner at home. Sipping wine from a bottle with a twist-off cap (because nothing says elegance like some Julio Gallo wine), 50-year-old Peter shared his worries with Cynthia.

Uptown, 50-year-old Peter's supper club, is in trouble since investors for the club are dropping like flies. Discussing their financial troubles over a glass of wine, Cynthia advised 50-year-old Pete to sell the club in order to have enough money for their wedding. Prickly Pete bristled at the idea and Cynthia started to fester.

Over at Phaedra's shindig, Dwight introduced the "royal family." All the ladies were in attendance. Even Kim showed up to make nice with Phaedra. Kim fawned over baby Aydan and all of Phaedra's worries about Kim creating drama were for naught. Phaedra had a long chat with Kim on the terrace.

Phaedra grilled Kim about being a registered nurse and Kim actually pulled out the paperwork to prove it. If the state of Connecticut saw fit to license Kim, then that's good enough for Queen Phaedra. Let the "two-facedness" cease!

Nene checked in at 11 Alive and started taping some station IDs and taglines for her "Keeping It Real With Nene" segments.

Kim and Sweetie started packing for Kim's upcoming promo tour with Kandi. Kim managed to weasel Sweetie into giving her B-12 shots in preparation for Kim's "rigorous" tour schedule. Fugly Brielle had a breakdown when she found out Mom and Sweetie will both be gone for seven days. Kim explained to her that Mam is now a big pop star and has to make a living. Brielle should be thankful for a week of peace and quiet.

Kandi and Kim had their first radio show interview in Charlotte. It's been 10 years since Kandi's last solo album, so the record label thought smaller clubs were the best way to start.

Don Juan, Kandi's tour manager, rubs Kim the wrong way. Kim doesn't like the regiment imposed by Don Juan. Comparing it to a military operation, ADD-stricken Kim doesn't like rules and regulations thrown her way. Kim especially doesn't like the tour bus "situation." Bunks? No smoking? Barely enough room to pee, much less breathe? Here comes trouble.

Nene brought Brent to her Jermaine Dupri interview for moral support. Nene towered over the monosyllabic "little munchkin." Instructed by Jermaine's publicist to not ask anything about Janet Jackson, Nene struggled to hold a decent conversation with him.

Finally, the ice was broken when Nene brought up Kim's "Tardy for the Party." Jermaine then took Nene on a tour of the house. When Nene took off her seven-inch heels, she was almost the same height as Jermaine. She shot hoops with him.

Stopping at the Thirsty Beaver Saloon for a drink, Don Juan managed to further piss off Kim by misinterpreting the lyrics of "The Ring Didn't Mean A Thing." Big Poppa, adultery and cheating are not topics to be discussed around pristine Kim. How dare Don Juan ruin Kim's tour buzz!

Cynthia and 50-year-old Peter got counseling from Hill Harper. Not only is he the CSI: NY guy, but a relationship expert as well. Maybe he can dissect what's wrong with these two because all is not well in La La land. Cynthia wants her money back from her investment in Uptown and Prickly Pete is upset that Cynthia can't grasp the concept of what marriage and compromise mean. This does not bode well. Cynthia and Prickly Pete's lack of communication may end up jeopardizing Cynthia's dream wedding.

Kandi and Kim arrived at Club Tempo for their big gig. Kim ran around like a chicken without a head, chain-smoking and boozing it up, while Kandi just wanted a few moments of peace before the show. Good luck with that! Kim didn't seem to realize that this is not the happy-go-lucky-love-the-tranny-queen-Kim gay crowd. This is hip-hop and hip-hop don't play.

But surprise, surprise, Kim acted like Kim, went off-course and the crowd still loved her! Oh yeah... and Kandi did an acapella version of "Haven't Loved Right" and floored Club Tempo as well.

Next stop: Orlando. But not before some more whining from Kim regarding the bunks. Life on the road is such a bitch!

Ryan Murphy, creator of the Fox series, says a future episode will feature a single that hasn't even been released yet: Lady Gaga's "Born This Way."

How will Glee utilize her new song, due out in February (the album of the same name comes out in May)? It'll involve Kurt's nemesis, Karofsky.

Sarah Palin "Crosshairs" Map: Still on Facebook!

It turns out that Sarah Palin's controversial list of "targets" in the 2010 elections, which included U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona, is still on Facebook.

Giffords was shot over the weekend and is in critical condition.

No one thinks Palin was responsible or even indirectly to blame for the act of lunacy committed by Jared Loughner, but she been getting flack for her fiery rhetoric and apparent gun imagery in the wake of the shooting. Her response?

A Palin staffer defended the above graphic, saying, "We never ever, ever intended it to be gun sights ... It was simply crosshairs like you'd see on maps."

Tom Lippolis on JWoww Nude Pics: Her Idea!

Tom Lippolis says it's a completely laughable allegation that JWoww from Jersey Shore did not know he was photographing her buck a$$ naked.

Her attorney suggested this shady behavior, even implying that JWoww (real name Jenni Farley) was under anesthesia when he took the pics.

Team Farley recently filed a court motion negging Tom from releasing JWoww nude photos. Her lawyer, Rudy Fusco, said she denied consenting.

Is JWoww the victim, or hanging Tom out to dry?

"Jenni says she must have been under anesthesia when they were taken," said Fusco, a comment Lippolis denies and says is preposterous.

"What a joke! How are you under anesthesia when you are standing up posing for the pictures?" Lippolis said. "[Jenni's] looking right at me."

He's got a point. That'll knock a girl out. Almost as ridiculous an excuse as the one given for the gun sights on Sarah Palin's crosshairs map.

He continues, "They had not given her anesthesia when I took the pictures, she was actually standing up with her hands placed on her hips."

According to Lippolis, the nude photos he took were actually JWoww's idea, to compare how she looked both pre- and post-plastic surgery.

Tom said he took the pics an hour before: "She told me, 'Take two pictures, one from the front and one from behind then take them after."

Lippolis' lawyer believes that, in turn, the MTV star does not have any right to block his client from doing what he wants with the photos.

Lippolis, who was seen briefly on the Jersey Shore Season 3 premiere, is also suing for fees he says are owed to him for managing her.

On the third night, the women opened the door to their "house" to find a naked man. The women then hid in a room and allegedly asked to leave.

The TV crew laughed at them and promptly refused.

We don't know what the point of the sequestration or naked dude was, but we look forward to hearing Phil's explanation for it in response to the lawsuit.

When the two ladies originally filed their lawsuits last year, CBS filed an anti-SLAPP motion, arguing that Dr. Phil's conduct was protected free speech.

However, a circuit court denied the motion, asserting that what was shown on Dr. Phil's show is considered "entertainment," not of "public interest."

Therefore, it doesn't qualify for protection under the 1st Amendment.

But because the women both signed contracts with the show, an appeals court this morning that they could not sue CBS for negligence. However ...

They may sue in a lower court, which include fraud, misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

According to a source, this rule demonstrates "a likelihood" that the women will win their case. Oh, guess what, too? It's YOUR FAULT, PHIL!!

Dr. Conrad Murray's Defense Plays its Hand, Insinuates Michael Jackson Did Himself In

After remaining mostly silent thus far, Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers laid some of the groundwork for their defense at his preliminary hearing today.

He's charged with involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's death. Murray's lawyer, J. Michael Flanagan, asked a Coroner investigator two questions:

Was the IV bag of Propofol fingerprinted?
Was it possible for Jackson to reach the syringes from the bed?

The defense will argue that Jackson killed himself by accident as he grew frustrated when he couldn't sleep and gave himself the fatal dosage.

Propofol, a powerful anesthetic, is what killed Jackson. An investigator for the L.A. County Coroner's Office said 12 bottles were found in his home.

A pharmacist Dr. Murray used to order Propofol testified that the doctor ordered box after box of the drug in the two months before Jackson died.

In all, Murray, the sole defendant in the Michael Jackson case, ordered 255 vials of Propofol in the two months leading up to the singer's demise.

Michael Douglas Declares: I've Beaten Cancer!

Following what he describes as a "wild six-month ride," Michael Douglas delivered wonderful news to Matt Lauer this week: his tumor is gone!

The veteran actor was diagnosed with throat cancer in August. He underwent weeks of radiation and chemotherapy and tells Lauer, in an interview that will air tomorrow morning, "the tumor is gone."

"The odds are, with the tumor gone and what I know about this particular type of cancer, that I've got it beat," says the actor.

Douglas will still have to see the doctor on a monthly basis, but says his appetite is back and he's gradually gaining the weight he lost during his illness. What has he learned/experienced?

"All of a sudden the affection from my family, from my friends, and from my fans hit me at a much deeper level than I would have ever imagined before. And it gave me a really new appreciation of just how valuable, how precious good friends are and family."

Now, the public has received another look at the 22-year old accused of opening fire in an Arizona supermarket parking lot on Saturday, severely wounding Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and killing six onlookers.

It's his mug shot, and it's equally disturbing.

Loughner, who appeared briefly before a judge today, faces five federal charges: one count of attempted assassination of a member of Congress, two counts of killing an employee of the United States and two counts of intent to kill employees of the United States.

He's next due in court on January 24.

Palin and Cole proved he sent them threatening emails and letters.

According to TMZ, Cole is launching a preemptive strike through the courts in the hopes of blocking Shawn Christy from "dissolving" the restraining order.

Cole filed documents explaining how he has continued to harass her and her family in the past few months and why keeping the order in place is needed.

Law enforcement sources tell us Shawn, who lives in Pennsylvania, has not been seen in Alaska yet, but has already filed to remove the protective order.

Dude, do us all a favor and back off. Regardless of your views on Sarah Palin, let her live her life in peace. Threats and violence get us nowhere as a society.

Michael Jackson Manslaughter Case: Five New Revelations From Preliminary Hearing

Last week was not a good one for Dr. Conrad Murray.

In the opening days of the preliminary hearing to determine whether or not there is enough evidence for him to stand trial on involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson, prosecutors unleashed a deluge of evidence.

While much of the alleged proof of his guilt - and Dr. Murray's defense - has been out there for some time, here were five revelations that were news to THG ...

1. The children saw it. Yes, MJ's kids watched him die. Tragically, Prince and Paris Jackson watched as Murray frantically attempted to revive the pop star.

2. Murray had never done CPR. During efforts to revive MJ, his Head of Security, Faheem Muhammad, says Murray asked, "Does anyone know CPR?"

3. He allegedly tried to cover his tracks. The Michael Jackson death timeline has been debated at length, but the prosecution just played its hand.

When it became clear there was a problem, Murray waited a full 21 minutes before calling 911, at which point he failed to mention the Propofol thing.

During that time, instead, in addition to attempting to revive Michael, he phoned his girlfriend, Jackson's personal assistant and fired off several texts.

4. His behavior was beyond sketchy. Paramedic Richard Senneff said Murray was "sweating" and "hyperkinetic" in the aftermath of what happened.

Sure, that's natural given MJ's collapse, but he also failed to disclose any of the medications he had put Jackson on and would not call a time of death.

Senneff said it was clear Jackson was dead, but Murray urged him against "calling it." MJ was driven to the hospital, where ER docs found him DOA.

5. People grieve in different ways. Apparently. In Murray's case, he announced he was hungry at the hospital, went to find food and peaced out.

When deputies later showed up to begin questioning Murray at the hospital, no one was sure of his whereabouts, leaving him briefly a wanted man.

NOTE: Remember that Murray's defense team has elected to more or less sit this hearing out, let the D.A. play its hand and prepare for trial.

Since this is not the doctor's actual trial, but merely a hearing to decide if he'll stand trial (he will), the defense chose an "observe and report" tack.

Who would have guessed when Jermaine Jackson took a trip to Burkina Faso in Africa that he would end up stuck there because of his failure to pay child support.

His passport expired and he can't get a new one until he does.

How does that work? In 2008, Jermaine's baby mama Alejandra Jackson (mom of Jafaar and Jermajesty), had a judge issue a support order for $3,000/month.

Jermaine has racked up $91,921 in back child support since.

Under California law, if someone owes more than $2,500 a month, the state informs the U.S. government, which often will red flag that person's passport.

Once the passport expires, it cannot be renewed until the person becomes current on their outstanding support obligations. Now here's where it gets crazy.

Jermaine's passport expired during his trip, so he can't get a new one and is stuck overseas until he comes up with the cash or the U.S. Embassy intervenes.

The Embassy will often issue temporary papers so the person can return to the U.S. in certain situations, but we don't imagine they're in a huge rush here.

Who doesn't renew their passport so it doesn't expire by the time they come back from an international trip? Dude should be kept there out of stupidity.

Jenelle Evans, Teen Mom 2 Star, Charged With Drug Possession, Breaking and Entering

Jenelle Evans was charged with breaking and entering and drug possession after she and boyfriend Kieffer Delp broke into a vacant property this fall.

Local officers discovered the troubled Oak Island, N.C., twosome in possession of half an ounce of marijuana and a pipe at the time of the break-in.

JENELLE AND JACE: Poor kid. Poor. Kid.

Police arrived at the house and announced their presence - but nobody came to the door for 10 minutes. They then found one of the back doors ajar.

They entered the residence and found Jenelle Evans in the back bedroom with the lights off. Delp had peaced out but was caught near the property.

He admitted to owning the marijuana and paraphernalia upon his apprehension. The pair were arrested, held on $3,000 bail and later charged.

They are set to appear in court again on January 10 - a day before Jenelle's new show premieres on MTV on Tuesday - convenient for the ratings!

Former 16 and Pregnant star Jenelle will star alongside three other teen moms in the new series - Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer and Kailyn Lowry.

All four appeared in the second season of 16 and Pregnant.

Jenelle signed over 'primary legal custody and primary physical custody' of her 16-month-old son, Jace, to her mother Barbara on June 10.

Kredit Kard Katastrophe: Kardashians Sued for $75 Million

The Kardashians have kause for koncern.

Five weeks after they took their debit card off the market because it was associated with dangerously high fees, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Kris have been sued by The Revenue Resource Group, LLC. For $75 million.

The company claims these sisters breached their contract when they pulled out of the aforementioned deal. It's the biggest pulling out scandal Kim has been involved in since November 2007.

Following an announcement by the Attorney General of Connecticut, who said he'd consider an investigation into the MasterCard-approved debit card, the siblings dropped out of their deal.

But Revenue Resource Group says they signed a two-year contract and their public bashing of the product has affected the company's bottom line. RRG is seeking $75 million in damages.

Perhaps this will teach the family a lesson about attaching their name to any product that comes calling. But, somehow, we doubt it will.

Samantha Ronson to Lindsay Lohan: Welcome!
