Oh, Shut Up Already: 8 Sexy Celebs Who Insist They're Not Sexy

Is there anything more annoying than a super hot famous woman talking about how she's not super hot at all? Sure there are, but that's the super annoying thing we're talking about today. Beautiful famous women are always talking about how ugly they are and it needs to stop. It annoys everyone, from the guys drooling over them to the women who envy them. Look, famous ladies, there's nothing wrong with being pretty. You don't have to be ashamed. And anyway, we'll let you in on a little secret: Men are simple-minded creature and we don't notice your flaws.

Jessica Alba, who has a long history of denying her hotness, recently told GQ UK, "My breasts are saggy, I've got cellulite, my hips are bigger... every actress out there is more beautiful than me." Oh brother. Look Jessica, we get that you might not be feeling good about your post-baby body but a little self-awareness is in order here. Every actress is more beautiful than you are? You do know that Tyler Perry is an actress, right?

Of couse, Jessica's not alone. Click below for seven more sexy celebs who think they look like the inside of a toilet bowl.

Jessica Alba

The quote: "Every actress out there is more beautiful than me." Via
Why it's absurd: Google Image search "ugliest actress" and you'll see that Jessica is delusional.

Scarlett Johansson

The quote: "I don't think of myself as sexy. I tend to see flaws in my appearance." Via
Why it's absurd: We've spent the past hour looking at every picture of Scarlett we could find and we still haven't found a flaw. Where are the flaws Scarlett? Where are they!?

Penelope Cruz

The quote: "I don't think I am beautiful. I can look good and I can look ugly." Via
Why it's absurd: Penelope Cruz is the hottest thing to come out of Spain since chorizo. The only way she'd look ugly is if her skin melted off of her face. Even then she'd have her charms.

Megan Fox

The quote: "I don’t think I'm a sexy, beautiful woman. I look like Ted Nugent in a black wig." Via
Why it's absurd: She's probably the most drooled over women in the world and unless she's been living in a cave for the past few years, she knows it. And she looks nothing like Ted Nugent. He's got guitars for arms.

Nicole Scherzinger

The quote: "I don't really see myself as sexy; I'm the biggest nerd I know." Via
Why it's absurd: Sorry Nicole, but we don't believe you at all. Women who don't think they're sexy don't take pictures that look like this. You're sexy Nicole, and you know it.

Salma Hayek

The quote: "I actually don't have a good body .. .If you know how to dress, there's some tricks you can pull." Via
Why it's absurd: Salma's modesty is admirable, but it's also ridiculous. For her to suggest that she doesn't have a good body is like suggesting that the ocean isn't full of water; it's demonstrably false.

Emma Watson

The quote: "I find the whole concept of being 'sexy' embarrassing and confusing." Via
Why it's absurd: The only thing Emma has to be embarrassed about is playing the silly "I'm not sexy" card. Go find a nerd and ask him if you're sexy Emma. He probably won't be able to talk but he'll be thinking "YES!"

Carrie Underwood

The quote: "I don't consider myself sexy. I'm kind of a nervous person in general. I'm socially awkward.... Oh, and I burp a lot." Via
Why it's absurd: Guess what Carrie, being nervous, awkward and burpy is actually endearing. It makes you even sexier! Stop fighting it.

Carrie Underwood Hearts Mike Fisher, Marriage

Carrie Underwood hearts being married to Mike Fisher, but keeps her personal life so private there are hardly any pictures of them together in public. Respect.

Opening up about her marriage in a rare interview, she tells People that given their careers, they haven't been together too much since their summer wedding.

But, the country singer adds, marriage is a perfect fit for her.

Mike Fisher, a.k.a. the Luckiest Man Alive, wed Carrie July 10.

"Mike is the missing piece to my puzzle – he's a few pieces," the American Idol champion says of her NHL star husband. "He makes me a better person."

While the winters in his native Canada can be rough ("I can't do cute heels in the winter!"), they're content to shuttle between Nashville and Ottawa homes.

"It's not like we have office jobs where one of you can transfer!" Underwood says, then states the obvious by noting that "It's not a conventional marriage."

Still, Carrie says marriage is something for which she gives thanks, along with other blessings, like her dog Ace and her family. All together now: Awww!

Looks like July 10 was quite the day for celebrity weddings.

John Krasinski married Emily Blunt in Italy, while LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony tied the knot in NYC. But they weren't the only stars to exchange vows.

In Greensboro, Ga., Carrie Underwood married Mike Fisher!

The Grammy-winning singer and the NHL player wed at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, with more than 250 guests on hand to witness the bliss.

"We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" the pair said.

The soon-to-be-newlyweds at this year's Grammy Awards.

During the ceremony, which featured the couple's favorite Bible verses and classical music, the bride walked down the aisle in a Monique Lhuillier lace gown.

Security was tight, with the property closed to anyone not working at the hotel or instrumental in making the Carrie Underwood-Mike Fisher nuptials happen.

Even the road leading into the hotel was closed to traffic.

Speaking of privacy, the newlyweds were scheduled to spend their first night together as husband and wife in the Ritz's 5,400-square-foot Presidential House.

After Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher got engaged last December after about a year together. Now they can get crackin' on that big family she wants!

Congratulations to the amazing and happy couple!

Grammy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Rihanna vs. Carrie Underwood

Some style showdowns are lopsided. Ke$ha and Heidi Klum? Come on. The eccentric singer is going to get blown out of the water faster than you can say Tik Tok.

Rihanna vs. Carrie Underwood is a tougher one to handicap, however.

Nominated for best rap collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West, Rihanna paired her usual fiery hair with an Elie Saab Haute Couture gown, Neil Lane diamond earrings, bracelet and rings mixed with two Diamond in the Rough rings.

Sorry you weren't there, Matt Kemp. But she looks great in photos!

Carrie, meanwhile, recently got engaged and looked the part of a would-be bride last night in a Georges Chakra gown with silver leather straps. Just gorgeous.

Who looked better, though? Vote in our survey below and decide:

Carrie Underwood: Engaged to Mike Fisher!

Mike Fisher has won the heart of Carrie Underwood, and broken ours.

The Ottawa Senators hockey player and the country singer are engaged to be married, according to Mike himself, who confirmed it to the Ottawa Sun yesterday.

Asked about it just moments before his team's game against the Boston Bruins at Scoriabank Place, he said he popped the question to Underwood on Sunday.

"It's true," said Fisher. "We're both obviously excited and very happy."

Sens' teammate Chris Neil said Mike Fisher called him with the news.

"I think it's great news. It's a long time coming. There's going to be a lot of broken hearts in Ottawa with all those girls who are in love with Mikey," said Neil.

Not to mention THG staffers who are in love with Carrie.

The future Mr. and Mrs. Carrie Underwood! Er, Mike Fisher!

The blogosphere had been buzzing after an Underwood family friend congratulated the former American Idol winner on the big news on Mike's Twitter page.

Underwood, who makes her home in Nashville, was in Ottawa through the weekend and was on hand for the Senators' 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild.

The couple has been dating for about a year, and have (impressively) kept their relationship largely out of the media. Time to get started on that big family!

Congratulations, Carrie and Mike! Sad as we are that she's off the market, we have to say, we approve of Mike and the way he goes about his business.

He's also not a bad lookin' fella, right ladies?

Carrie Underwood Would Like a Family Someday

She's the queen of country, but Carrie Underwood would to settle down and a family someday. This is a modest life goal, but a timeless, wonderful one.

It's not really news, but 1. It gives us a chance to stare at her new Self magazine cover, and 2. Not every celebrity news article must be a scandal!

In January's Self, the country star gets specific about her ideal family size: "Someday I'd like to start a family. Not a big one, but not a small one."

The middle ground between "big" and "small"? "Two kids is good," the Oklahoman explains. "Three is probably fine. Four?"

"Somebody's getting something done, because we ain't having five!"

You got that, Mike Fisher?

Carrie in Self

Don't even THINK of knocking Carrie Underwood up more than 3-4 times!

The singer has been dating the Canadian hockey player for just over a year. Underwood may not be a pro athlete, but she tries to stay in killer shape herself.

"I have Exercise TV on cable," she says. "Jillian Michael's videos kick your butt. That and If I'm ticked off, I get a punching bag and beat the crap out of it."

She does check out Carrie Underwood photos in magazines, too.

"I love it when I feel good about myself," she admits. "I'll look at a photo and think, 'My arms look great!' - and then I go work out on my arms."

"Once you're enjoying things about your body, you realize how much you want to keep them that way or make them that much better."
