Paying a visit to “Live! With Regis and Kelly” to talk about her new book, Hilary Duff was spotted outside of ABC studios in New York City on Tuesday morning (October 12).
The former “Lizzie McGuire” babe looked darling in a knee-length, navy blue short-sleeved dress and heels as she was escorted through the hefty crowd by several bodyguards.
Taking a stab at playing author, Hil’s new novel “Elixir” that features the adventures of photojournalist, Clea Raymond, is being released today (October 12).
Duff has recently had a full schedule of promoting the book which is one of the many she will write for a series of young adult novels for Simon & Schuster.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Renewing Vows In Isreal?
Not likely. When Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher were photographed together headed for Israel..everyone just assumed they were going on some spiritual getaway to work on their marriage. Mostly because Kutcher posted this on Twitter:
“Sharing Love & Light while in Israel. Asking 4 the energy 2 forge bonds with our similarities & find compromise in our differences.”
Sounds like a dude that knows he got caught and doing some major damage control with the wife and/or press. But a source close to the couple says the real reason they are in Israel is because Ashton is speaking at a conference in Israel. “They are not in Israel to renew vows,” the source says.

Crystal Bowersox and Brian Walker: Married!
Crystal Bowersox recently made the insightful, intelligent comment that one's wedding isn't nearly as important as one's marriage.
With the first step taken care of, the American Idol runner-up can now focus on the second. That's right: Bowersox married fellow musician Brian Walker in Chicago yesterday.
"Our lives have never made more sense than they do right now,” Bowersox told People. “I can't believe how incredibly lucky we are to have found so much laughter, love, and light within each other. We're one happy WalkerSox family."
Ha! WalkerSox! We love it.
Bowersox and Walker got engaged in September.
Approximately 60 friends and family members were in attendance at the ceremony, including Crystal's young son and former Idol contestant Didi Benami.
Following the celebration, and a subsequent brief honeymoon, the artist will return to the music studio and put the finishing touches on her debut album. We wish her the best!

A comic book was one thing. A movie could be interesting. Host of a revived MTV series? Sure, why not? A line of action dolls? We're starting to push it.
Now, it's really possible that Bieber Fever is spreading too quickly and afflicting too many industries, as we can confirm Justin Bieber is coming out with his own line of nail polish. Yes, nail polish.
The young singer has signed a deal with Nicole by OPI. His line will be titled the One Less Lonely Girl collection and each color will be inspired by Bieber singles:

Lil Wayne: Thrown in Solitary Confinement!
Lil Wayne scored a #2 album on the Billboard charts this week, marking a solid debut for his latest release I Am Not A Human Being. Whether he knows it is unclear.
Weezy, of course, has been solitary confinement - no conversation, TV, or music - and will remain there for 23 hours a day until his November 4 release from jail.
That's gotta be harder than Brett Favre in those pics he sent to Jenn Sterger.
Weezy is in solitary, or in the politically correct world, "punitive segregation," after sneaking an iPod charger and headphones into his cell. Hey, you gotta rock out.
The musical contraband was hidden in an empty potato chip bag in a trash bin. Clever, but his actions were discovered and his stay on Rikers Island got lonelier.
The good news? His album sold 110,000 copies in its first week, with 11 Wayne songs on the Hot Digital Songs chart, second only to the Glee cast, which has 12.
Plus, he gets to avoid the communal shower aspect. That's just awkward.
Lindsay Lohan Blames Issues on Michael Lohan
Lindsay Lohan's making excuses again, but for once, she's not off base. Being Michael Lohan's spawn doesn't justify her troubled behavior, but it helped cause it.
The rehabbing star is doing a lot of thinking at the Betty Ford Clinic, and has reached one conclusion: MiLo and his dysfunctional parenting are largely to blame.
Talking to counselors about the path that led her to drug and alcohol addiction, Linds is convinced the nightmare of growing up in a messed up family took its toll.
Enough said.
Linds repeatedly talks about allegations her mom, Dina Lohan, made in her divorce papers ... that Michael abused her. Lindsay says she witnessed it firsthand, too.
It's still tough to deal with for the actress, especially seeing as Lindsay claims she had to step in and protect her mother from Michael (who denies abusing Dina).
On top of Mike being an abysmal excuse for a human being, Lindsay moving to L.A. at a very young age with almost no supervision was also an undeniable catalyst.
The celebrity gossip scrutiny hasn't helped either, no matter how much she invites it. Hopefully, these counseling sessions help Lindsay move forward constructively.
And her douchenozzle of a dad stays the hell away.
Miley Cyrus, Mother Raise Cancer Awareness
It pains us when we can't mock Miley Cyrus.
Fortunately, the singer gave us (and the Parents' Television Council) plenty to go on about in her new music video.
But mother Tish Cyrus recently spoke to USA Today about how she and her daughter got involved with City of Hope's "All In Week" last week to raise cancer awareness among mothers and young women. We can only give them props for that action.
"It's scary when you have girls, and you hear how many women of all ages, including the young, are affected by cancer every year," said Tish, who lost her father and grandmother to the disease.
Elsewhere in the article, Miley's mom talked about her and her family's involvement in this important cause. Excerpts from the interview follow:
On City of Hope: Children's cancer was something that Miley was really passionate about. It's so devastating to see how many people are affected by cancer every year. One of the first things Miley did with City of Hope was to team up with Disney on The Concert for Hope at the Gibson Amphitheatre with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. For each ticket sold, $1 was given to City of Hope. I believe she raised over $1 million.
On settling an example: Miley has always believed that if we all do something small, you can make a huge difference. When visiting a children's hospital at home in Tennessee or being involved with City of Hope, it's about getting out to spread that message. Also, teens can make a difference by setting an example for young kids. That's been the case with our youngest, Noah, who's 10. She looks up to Brandi and Miley and the work they do. She's planning to go to Haiti for a mission trip.
On who inspires Miley: Her dad. In the early '90s when he was touring, we'd do 290 shows in 350 days, and I never remember one when he didn't spend time with special-needs kids, meeting them after the show. He'd also give all the gifts he'd been given at each show to local children's hospitals, even if he had to drop them off at midnight. Miley was just a little girl then, but those things she remembers.
Did Elin Nordegren Try to Confront Joslyn James?
Did Tiger Woods' then-wife Elin Nordegren try to confront Joslyn James about her filthy affair with the golfer? That's what the trashy mistress is claiming.
Joslyn, one of the more notorious Tiger Woods mistresses, claims Elin went to three different strip clubs in a bid to confront her about the affair this year.
“Each time she showed up I wasn't there,” Joslyn, real name Veronica Siwik-Daniels, recalled to Steppin’ Out. “When I was in Atlanta, Elin came and saw me."

"When she arrived I was on stage. I didn't hear about it until later, the next day. He [Tiger] was in Augusta. She went to two other clubs looking for me."
"I honestly think she wanted to talk to me and had something to ask me. She came to the club. I heard she had something she wanted to talk about."
Wonder what that could be? Reports suggest that Joslyn James' affair with Tiger, specifically, was a catalyst in Elin Nordegren divorcing him this spring.
He had many mistresses, but the extent of his dalliances with James - nasty texts about choking her and golden showers, for example - was different.
Between James and the text messages Elin saw from Rachel Uchitel on Thanksgiving, when Tiger fled the couple’s Florida home and crashed his car?
There was no going back from there.
“I feel bad we never had that moment,” Joslyn said. “I'm sorry we didn't get the chance because I'm sure we would have had a lot to say to each other.”
We're sorry too, Joslyn James. You could have told us all about it and milked your 15 minutes of infamy another second or too longer. What a shame.

Corey Bohan Might Propose to Audrina Patridge
Audrina Patridge's stint on Dancing with the Stars has meant long hours and some relationship problems with Corey Bohan, by her own admission.
But it looks like the couple is working through them just fine - and there may be a huge surprise for Audrina come season's end, Mirror Ball or not.
“To let Audrina know just how proud of her I am, I’m planning a holiday to a tropical island if she wins - there might even be a ring!” he tells Star.
Will Corey Bohan put a ring on it this fall?
He's kidding ... about the "if she wins" part. “I really believe that I've met the girl I am going to spend the rest of my life with,” says Corey Bohan.
The big news comes just one week after Audrina was seen in tears, trying to balance her romance and her rehearsal for Dancing With the Stars.
She went on to post the week's top score.
“We had a few arguments because we were seeing so little of each other due to all the rehearsing she has to do for the show,” the BMX pro said.
“She told me she felt stressed trying to make me happy and learn the routines. Everyone is so competitive, I think that stresses her out more.”
But the two have been able to adjust, and now, things between them have been stronger than ever since reuniting once again early this summer.
“Things were different than they had been before. For one thing, she was not filming The Hills,” he says. “We both feel we have our lives back and the privacy to make things work. I don’t think either of us could be more in love.”
So much so, he's doing everything he can for his woman.
“From 8 a.m. until 11 p.m., Audrina is out practicing. But then she gets home, and that’s when I take care of her,” the dutiful boyfriend says. “The thing that aches most is always her feet. So I love to give them a really good massage!”

Oksana: Seriously, I Didn't Leak the Mel Tapes!
The Mel Gibson rants. They need no introduction. Vile, expletive-laden tirades such as those would be shocking from any human being, let alone an acting legend.
But Oksana Grigorieva, Mel's ex-girlfriend, source of baby mama drama and recorder of said rants, adamantly denies she's the one who made the tapes public.
If you say it enough times, you start to believe it, right Oksana? Sadly, the public you're trying to convince likely just assumes the opposite - you're lying.
YAWN: Oksana's hourly bashing of Mel contains nothing new.
"I've never leaked those tapes," she says of the infamous audio that surfaced in July, in which Mel rages against her in a series of explosive phone calls.
She says she does not know how the tapes surfaced, and also denies that she ever attempted to extort any money from Mel Gibson. Both likely stories.
Come on. Mel is a hateful moron who needs serious help, but hasn't been charged with a crime, and there's plenty of evidence of Oksana bilking him.
An L.A. Sheriff's investigation is underway as to whether Grigorieva attempted to extort millions from Gibson in exchange for keeping the tapes private.
Meanwhile, the L.A. district attorney is determining whether to charge Gibson with domestic violence in an alleged attack on Oksana back in January.
Unlike her unscrupulous PR offensive, Gibson's attorneys have taken the opposite tack and declined comment about Grigorieva’s interview with People.
Grigorieva maintains that her primary focus is the couple's 1-year-old daughter Lucia, who lives with her mom but sees her dad nearly every other day.
"I'm fighting for my daughter," says Oksana, who split with Mel earlier this year. "He needs to understand that and stop destroying me and my name."
Why is she speaking out so publicly?
"I would like for people to know the real Mel Gibson," she says. "Even though he's rich and famous, he's a bully ... And I want other women that are in my situation to stand up to the bullies, even though it's difficult and scary."
Joe and Katherine Jackson: Coming to Oprah
Oprah Winfrey may have just lost Oksana Grigorieva, but she's landed another celebrity interview scoop: Katherine and Joe Jackson sat down with her this weekend.
The parents of Michael Jackson will appear in a taped segment for O's show.
Katherine and Joe Jackson have an interesting relationship.
It looks like O's interview has went down, too, although it's not clear when it will be televised. Production trucks for Oprah's show were parked outside of the Jackson family compound in Encino, Calif., for the better part of Saturday.
Oprah can be seen meeting with several family members and getting the tour of the house while doing an interview focused heavily on (guess) Michael Jackson.
Katherine will be talking about his life, Michael Jackson's kids and the book she wrote about his life. Joe? He's just kinda there. Is he still with Katherine? Or just suing everyone and everything he can while angling for a piece of the pie?
Joe has been filing suit after suit in response to MJ's death last year, but he was cut out of the singer's will, meaning he has no dog in the legal fight, so to speak. Then again, reports say Katherine supports him, even though they live apart.
It's all very unclear. But the interview should be interesting.

It's not enough that Minka Kelly gets to go to bed alongside Derek Jeter every night.

"I'm so excited to be a woman," said the actress, who recently turned 30. "I'm confident in my skin, and I'm cool with my flaws and all that stuff."
George Michael Granted Freedom From Jail
The penal system in this country can't contain Lindsay Lohan, but George Michael actually served four weeks in the UK before enjoying the taste of ... freedom.
The singer was released from jail Monday after serving about half of an eight week term for DUI and possession of marijuana, the AP reports. Not too shabby.
George pleaded guilty to the charge soon after the accident.
Thrown in the slammer September 14 after crashing into a storefront with his Range Rover, Michael admitted he smoked marijuana and had taken a sedative.
"I just want to start again," the AP quoted Michael as saying upon his release, which is contingent upon him abiding by his parole and paying $2,000 in fines.
He has lost his driver's license for five years.
Malaysian Political Party Denounces Adam Lambert Concert as "Outrageous," Plans Protest
In July of last year, Adam Lambert faced a picket from hate-minded members of the Westboro Baptish Church, as they protested his participation in the American Idol Live tour with sick signs and ignorant messages.
Now, the singer is entering into another sad firestorm.
Lambert is scheduled to perform in Malaysia on Thursday, but that nation's second largest political party is demanding the cancellation of the concert due to the artist's ties to "gay culture."
"Adam Lambert's shows... are outrageous, with lewd dancing and a gay performance that includes kissing male dancers," Pan Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) youth leader Nasrudin Hasan told Reuters. "This is not good for people in our country."
In Malaysia, homosexual sex is considered a criminal offense.
There's no indication from Adam that he'll skip the tour date. Despite his agreeance to follow guidelines in the country - singers must keep their clothes on and remain at least 25 feet from the audience at all times - PAS claims it will send one million supporters to protest Lambert if the concert goes on as planned.
If this does go down, it wouldn't be the first time PAS has protested an American artist. Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Gwen Stefani have all faced the group's wrath.
Here's to hoping Adam stays strong in the face of such hate. Send him your best wishes, fans. He'll need them this week.

For the third time in a week, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted on a date over the weekend.
This time, though, cameras didn't catch the actor in an irate mood, peeved over his loss of privacy. Instead, he and his gal pal look downright giddy as they ride in a Beverly Hills cab and leave Matsuhisa, a sushi restaurant in the area.

After 11 years of marriage, Courteney Cox and David Arquette have filed for separation.
The parents of six-year old Coco, who met on the set of Scream, have released the following statement pertaining to the situation:
"We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together."
How is this split related to Lindsay Lohan?
An insider tells TMZ that Jasmine Waltz - the girl who punched Lindsay in the face a few months ago, and who once dated Ryan Seacrest - began seeing Arquette soon after he and Cox first agreed to separate.
But the source adds that there's hope for David and Courteney, saying it's "real possibility" they could get back together and: "It's a work in progress."
