Collin and Alexis Gosselin: Expelled From Private School For "Rage Issues"

Two of Jon and Kate Gosselin's eight kids - Collin and Alexis Gosselin, both 6 - have been expelled from a private school in Pennsylvania over "rage issues."

They are now being homeschooled, a source close to the situation says. Great, so now the wire-haired control freak gets even MORE face time with them.

"They've fought with their peers, called them nasty names and made fun of other kids," a source told In Touch Weekly, which first reported their expulsion.

Simpler times.

"Collin had such bad issues that he refused to get his picture taken at school. He's tired of being on-camera," a witness says of the troubled sextuplet.

Others have come to the pair's defense, claiming that despite reports of violence and bullying, they are not behaving as badly as has been reported.

"The situation is being grossly overstated," a source says.

"The kids are going through a very challenging time, but Kate doesn't feel this is something that should be discussed publicly. It is a private matter."

With the divorce, Kate has acknowledged that the children have had difficult moments, but says in general, they are "amazing, resilient, loving kids."

Their dad begs to differ, at least as far as how well-adjusted they are. Jon lashed out at Kate for continuing to keep the kids on television, claiming the exposure gives them behavioral and emotional problems at school and beyond.

Basically, he's a deadbeat and Kate's a child abuser. Those therapy bills are going to start piling up really, really fast.

Eric Roberts: Kate Gosselin is a Child Abuser!

In random but true news, Eric Roberts, actor, brother of Oscar-winner Julia and father of Emma Roberts, has come out and labeled Kate Gosselin a child abuser.

“I know she's fading from the news, but hopefully someone's still got their eye on the wellbeing[sic] of her kids. Kate Gosselin is a child abuser,” Roberts said.

He expanded on his opinion to the blog Small Town Gosselins, which chronicles Kate and the eight kids she shared with now ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

Eric Roberts is no fan of "cruel horror" known as Kate Gosselin.

Calling Kate a "cruel horror," Eric certainly does not mince words.

“Thank goodness there's film of Kate spanking her kids, and apparently feeling fine about it. I say thank goodness, because behind closed doors makes it that much tougher to stop,” Roberts explained, saying their state of life is an issue.

“They have an awful mother, and a father who doesn't stop her.”

“The kids Kate and Jon have are why Kate and Jon have money,” the actor said, noting the kids are short-changed financially. “It would be awful if financial stress added to those kids' problems. The money should be divided 10 ways.”

Although his daughter herself began working at a tender age, now Roberts believes “children are not fully willing participants in anything during childhood.”

However, he disagrees with Jon Gosselin’s remark (during his mea culpa) aboutmaking the kids stop filming and believes Jon is taking up the wrong issue:

“I think Jon is being unrealistic. How is that family going to live?”

“The kids could have a great time doing the show if their mom wasn't a cruel horror who is clearly repeating generational abuse. Jon's got his eye on the wrong ball," he said. "The kids, however, should not be forced to do anything.”

His advice for the control freak? “Get out of denial and receive anger management ... Next time she feels herself lifting a hand to harm her children, she should instead make a call to a 12-step program. She's playing the role of good mom. When she stops playing the role as it's written, she should be fired.”

Rumors are swirling on the Internets about the future of Kate Gosselin's two reality shows, Kate Plus Eight and Twist Of Kate, and whether either will be back on TLC.

Kate Gosselin Celebrates as ALL EIGHT KIDS GO TO SCHOOL

The first day of school is right around the corner.

For Kate Gosselin, it's a really significant milestone.

The famous single mom recently blogged excitedly: "ALL EIGHT OF MY CHILDREN will, for the first time ever, ATTEND FULL-TIME SCHOOL this year!!!!"

Having just turned six, Kate and Jon Gosselin's famous sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Alexis, Hannah and Leah are full-time elementary schoolers now.

To nine-year-old twin sisters Cary and Mady, it's no thing.

"I stand in awe, amazement and slight sadness at the thought of this [insert sad, nostalgic mommy music here please]," Kate writes of the moment.

Kate Gosselin will finally have some free time.

"I can remember ... thinking ahead to the day when I would send eight children off to school Monday through Friday... at the time, the thought of having eight children at home Monday-Friday scared the living bejeebers out of me."

Kate, who just reached a custody settlement with Jon, says when she was preggers, she "drew the conclusion that someday my house would, thanks to the school system, sorta somewhat calm down again ... Uh yeah, or so I hoped!"

Of course, since the sextuplets' birth, of course, the brood became reality stars on, the couple divorced last year, Jon Gosselin paraded around with various mediocre girls, and Kate appeared on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Still, Kate certainly isn't taking things for granted.

"This milestone is a privilege, never a guarantee, especially not in a high-risk sextuplet pregnancy," she writes. "I feel honored (even if a bit sad) to send them marching off to school... Just like Snow White and her 8 (please, just on this occasion?) Dwarfs!"

We'll believe the former when we see it.

Because two reality shows are never enough for a mother of eight, Kate Gosselin is reportedly pitching another in which she focuses on nabbing a new husband.

“Kate’s working on a deal to do a new reality dating series on ABC,” a Gosselin insider reveals to Life & Style. “Kate would love to have someone new in her life."

After divorcing Jon Gosselin last year following a public implosion, Kate "really misses the companionship. She wishes she had a man around to help her out.”

In the proposed show, the reloaded Kate Plus 8 star will be matched up with single dads - or, in another scenario, could wind up as the star of The Bachelorette!

The magazine's anonymous claim that this is being discussed is clearly baseless, but at the same time, she was ratings gold for ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

Jon & Kate Gosselin Mark One Year Since Split

It has now been a year since the marriage of Kate and Jon Gosselin ended.

The weeks prior to the tearful, on-air confessionals confirming the split (and garnering record ratings) on Jon & Kate Plus 8 were a train wreck of epic proportions.

Rumors of Jon nailing his pal Deanna Hummel were the first to surface. Then Kate and Steve Neild. Then Jon and Hailey Glassman, Stephanie Santoro, and so on.

As their family crumbled under the microscope of celebrity gossip magazines and websites, Kate acknowledges there were difficult moments for their eight kids.

"[Nine-year-old daughter Cara] was upset with me because I forgot to sign them up for something at school," Kate tells People in its new cover story this week.

"I said, 'Cara, I had a really rough year. This is a new year. You've got to give me that. Let's start over.' So I've really worked to keep my word with them."

In general, Kate says, her children – twins Cara and Mady and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Aaden, Collin and Joel – have weathered the storm well.

"They're just amazing, resilient, loving kids."

The reality TV mom and her children will return to TLC in a new, revamped Kate Plus 8, airing June 6. The family recently filmed the show in Orlando, Fla.

There, they also celebrated the sextuplets' sixth birthday. Back home, they also got to see dad ... and were introduced to Jon's new girlfriend Ellen Ross.

Kate Gosselin has her hands full with eight kids. For once, we sympathize.

The reality mom, who was recently sent packing from Dancing with the Stars, has returned to parenting duties, and blogs that she's more referee than mom.

Describing fights among her youngins, she says: "Help! Where is my referee uniform??? Honestly, this is every minute of every day in a house with eight kids!"

"OK, I'll admit it. There are the sweet moments of love and compassion to balance these never-ending stressful encounters, but for some reason, these unloving loud outbursts are what I tend to remember," adds the recently-divorced Kate.

Jake Pavelka Hearts Kate Gosselin, Gets Pumped For Dancing with the Stars

Despite not being actual celebrities, and only gaining their fame through other reality shows as themselves, Kate Gosselin and Jake Pavelka are among the bigger names on this season of Dancing with the Stars, premiering tonight on ABC.

Kate has at least one fan pulling for her, too.

"Just met Kate Gosselin. Super nice!" The Bachelor star Twittered in typical lame, upbeat fashion. "I'm impressed the negative media hasn't affected her spirit."

Jake Pavelka continued his gushing over her: "Kate's a great person. I was happy to see her having fun with Tony [Dovolani], her dance partner," he Tweeted.

Of his partner Chelsie Hightower, Jake said: "Just finished almost 7hr practice. She kicked my butt, elbowed my eye and put me through the ringer! Felt Great!"

DWTS Peeps Love Kate Gosselin Somehow

Kate Gosselin is fitting in nicely on Dancing With the Stars, according to reports. Its cast members apparently never watched her on Jon & Kate Plus 8.

On Tuesday, the reality-mom turned amateur dancer met with her Dancing With the Stars rivals in a Hollywood studio for a promotional photo shoot.

"Kate was so nice," a set source tells Us Weekly. "Everyone loved her. She was funny, cordial and accommodating." Adds the insider: "It was a surprise!"

The star's dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, agrees. Following their Good Morning America visit Tuesday, he Tweeted, "Kate and I are getting along great."

"She is [an amazing] Mom and it looks like she is going to become a great dancer too! Kate and I are having a blast today. [We] had a nice long day of photo shoots and title shoots and I think both of us are ready to just pass out lol."

LOL, indeed.

Will Kate Gosselin hold her own on Dancing with the Stars?

Kate has her work cut out against the likes of Chad Ochocinco, Erin Andrews, Damian Whitewood and Jake Pavelka. But she's riding a wave of confidence.

Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Gosselin said she "can't dance," but nevertheless "I'm gonna win." One strategy: employ her eight kids to vote for her.

Dovolani plans to travel with her to her Wernersville, Pa. home and rehearse at a "local studio" or in the basement studio DWTS had made for Kate.

Gosselin praises Dovolani as "a very positive person. Even when I mess up really, really bad - which is a lot - he still has something positive to say."

As we reported yesterday afternoon and confirmed last night, Kate Gosselin has joined the Dancing with the Stars cast for the season starting March 22.

If you thought casting Kate as one of the "stars" was a stretch, think again. ABC feels she'll be such a ratings draw, they bent over backwards to get her.

For example, while the rest of the cast - announced last night after The Bachelor finale - practices in L.A., Kate will do so in her Pennsylvania basement.

Kate will be practicing her moves in a newly-converted dance studio at home so she can be near the eight kids she spawned with d-bag ex Jon Gosselin.

Dancing with the Stars is not only letting Kate slide with this unconventional arrangement, the show will be footing a hefty bill for the makeshift studio.

Are you excited to see Kate bust a move on DWTS?

Kate's partner, Tony Dovolani, will fly to Kate's home for practice. Kate will only be in L.A. two days per week, for the taping, until she gets voted off.

Which should be approximately one episode.

When she's cutting a rug on the west coast, her kids will stay in Pennsylvania with a nanny. Presumably not one by the name of Stephanie Santoro.

Kate apparently told Dancing with the Stars that this was the only way she'd do the show, "because she's a single mom trying to make money."

Report: Kate Gosselin Joins Dancing with the Stars

Kate Gosselin will be one of the contestants on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars, according to reports. This poses an interesting dilemma:

How do they even introduce her on the show? Mother of eight? Bitchy single former reality star? Shameless, self-promoting author with awful hair?

In any case, the official Dancing With the Stars cast announcement will be made this evening as a cross-promotion with The Bachelor season finale.

"I want to laugh at myself. I so cannot dance. It would be a terribly sad sight," said the grating mother of eight on the Jay Leno Show recently.

Which begs the question: what would Gosselin do with her kids during the hours of grueling daily rehearsals for the reality competition show?

FEAR THE PORCUPINE: Whatever that is on her head, it is a force to be reckoned with as Kate Gosselin is ready to kick ass and take names on Dancing with the Stars.

She will actually prepare her routines in Pennsylvania, near where she lives, instead of in the show's rehearsal studios on the West Coast, according to sources:

"Kate's the kind of woman who will do whatever is necessary for her children. It's great for her to be on the show, but only in a way that benefits her family."

The show was willing to make such a concession since producers believe she will be a ratings bonanza for Dancing with the Stars, and they're probably right.

Kate is now the primary breadwinner for her brood, as the legal battle waged by Jon Gosselin against TLC ate up a big chunk of his money - and notoriety.

He can't do any more TV appearances now until they cut him loose. Which pretty much takes away his only source of revenue - being a douche, but on TV.
