Eclipse Just Misses Box Office Record

So close.

Eclipse came ever so close to knocking Spider-Man 2 from its top perch and establishing a new box office record for a film's first six days in release.

Alas, the third Twilight Saga installment will have to settle for a mere $175 million in domestic earnings so far.

That figure actually falls short of New Moon's opening six-day haul, as it grossed $178 million in less than a week. Still, Eclipse has set a quartet of benchmarks:

1. Biggest midnight gross of all-time.
2. Biggest Wednesday ever.
3. Widest release in cinematic history.
4. Loudest screams from fans in attendance.

Despite a mixed bag of reviews, the movie has made over $275 million worldwide.

While Toy Story 3 continues to bring in the bucks, we'd be surprised if Eclipse wasn't the highest-grossing film of the summer when all is said and done. Instead of staring each other down, Jacob and Edward should really be high-fiving in the photo above.

What’s Inside: Two superior people of the genetic engineering world. They specialize in combining DNA samples and creating genetically altered species. Exciting new hybrids. However the couple now want to use human DNA although the pharmaceuticals company funding their work does not agree with that idea or concept and will not fund it.

Wrapping It UP: Considering the company would not go along with the plan of splicing human DNA the couple secretly and deliberately do the experiment without any idea of what they were doing. To the couple’s amazement the result is Dren. Dren is extremely amazing in both mental and physical skills and perhaps more than what the couple had even imagined. In essence they have no idea what they have done and what will happen next.

The woman seems to be dead but then she comes alive right before the fisherman’s eyes. He thinks he is seeing things. But it is really happening right before him. But with the help of his ailing daughter h sees things a bit differently. She might be a myth come true. Ondine and the fisherman fall in love, but just as we think the fairy tale might go on forever the real world intercedes. Then after a terrible car accident the return of a dark things turn bad.

She would be letting them down however in the long term thought of things she decides to take the job. Jody reassures herself taking the position by her own dreams of making real films and this could help. When Jody goes after hours and starts making her own low fund budget romantic comedy at night she learns that she can actually accomplish making a movie but she gradually learns to accept certain things including her low life friends who are into porn.

Wrapping It Up: Navigating through rough terrain the assassin that is trained in every type of combat is ready for action they have to hunt Cunth and bring him to justice. His methods and nuclear war heads don’t mix well. His crime scenes always get messy, but the only way to bring him in is fighting him and he doesn’t go down easy.

Wrapping it Up: Working their ways through the roads they drive on and the youth they have turning into an adult, they know what they want they want to be nascar drivers without any doubts. In intimate times they think about their families of love and of struggle. This documentary shows something what its like for three kids who want desperately to drive at 200 mph and feel the speed. They are good but they know they need to get better and that’s exactly what they are racing into a championship for karting at 70 mph.

What’s Inside: High Rollers in Indian casinos a Greek Tycoon , cold war spy, and the United States Congress. These are some of the ongoing and unique clues that add up to the epic mystery behind one of the greatest attempted heists in American history. This documentary shows a spiral tale of a group of con men who charm their use of power, the zealotry of religion, and political brawling to get what they want. These ideas often lead to profit too. Its about those who were interested in getting rich the easy way, and the politicians who needed their money. And how millions were extorted and the foundations of our democracy imperiled through power and cash together.

These were ambitious men who wanted to mess with the government for fun, however that all changed when other people found out their con man ways of getting their way.

Wrapping It Up: As stated above there soon became a dark side to something that was literally supposed to be a prank. That reveals our sometimes broken system with lobbying and campaign finance. There are so many things that go on that the people just don’t understand or don’t know about. It is a documentary and the Casino Jack film is a true comedy in some ways, although the joke is amazingly on us.

What’s Inside: A man named Victor realizes he has setbacks and short comings of the ideas on the hippie commune where he was raised. His mother pays for the commune where the guru hypmotizes women and seduces them in which he calls running. He does this so that they give him not only their bodies but everything they have in the worldly way. Such as homes, money and anything else they might have. This is a polygamous cult. And following the ways of the insley’s free will for love theory the adults overlook the fact that their children are being harshly subjected to sex and drugs. It is a good movie and people have good things to say about it, some say they had no idea places like that can exist but they do.

Victor wants to escape again and tries to sell weed however his rivals know more people and sells to them first. He is haunted by visions of his past and his deathly ill father and is entangled with confusion from his youth.

Wrapping It Up: When all else fails, he finally goes to his mother and yet he is torn between getting money from his mother who is completely under insley’s influence, dealing with violent drug addicted friends and staying to save his love Becky who is spinning out of control. For some this is a hard movie to watch and its even harder to know that these places and cults do exist. What is even worse is knowing someone who has joined one of these cults or plans on joining one.

The Lightkeepers Review

Reel Review: This is a movie that was released in May of 2010. It was released by New Films International and it is a romance movie that is rated PG. It stars Richard Dreyfuss and other very good cast members. It is a wonderful movie and there are several people now who have already seen it, and claim they will go see it again.

What’s Inside: This movie was created and set in 1912 on Cape Cod, it involves a light house keeper who has basically become a hermit not talking to anyone and only going to town when he needed supplies. He especially stayed away from females of all ages despite his loneliness that he felt.

In the movie he has to contend with two beautiful women who move into the near by cottage for the summer and he doesn’t know at this point what to do. He at once decides not to associate with them or have any type of contact with them, and yet they are both very beautiful and have tried to be nice to him, should they catch him outside the light house. This of course was very seldom he didn’t want to confront either one of them.

Its no use however when they do meet and he is forced to talk to them. He realizes they aren’t that bad to have around however the summer will be over soon and they will be gone. Did he notice too little to late?

Wrapping It Up: The man from the light house now feels as though he is falling for one of the women and doesn’t want her to leave. He talks to her and in some ways the feeling is mutual. If you have comments about the Light keepers movie feel free to comment we would be glad to hear from you.
