Michael Jackson Kids' Trust Fund: Wisely Managed

For all that's been written of Michael Jackson's questionable financial decisions, it looks like he learned his lesson - and didn't want his kids to repeat his mistakes.

He left a fortune to Prince, Paris and Blanket, but with long, long list of strings attached. Under the trust he left for them, the kids get 40 percent of MJ's estate.

His mother, Katherine Jackson, gets the use of 40 percent during her lifetime (when she dies, the remainder goes to the kids), and 20 percent goes to charity.

The kids' 40-plus percent isn't going to be seen for decades, though.

Prince, Paris and Blanket have no control of the money until they are 30. Until then, they only receive an allowance, determined solely by the estate's trustee.

Paris, Blanket and Prince will learn fiscal responsibility - something that their father showed limited ability to handle despite accumulating such a vast fortune.

When each of the kids turns 30, the trustees must then give them a third of their share outright. When the kids reach 35, they get half of their share outright.

If they screw up, Omer Bhatti gets it all. Just kidding.

At age 40, they get whatever's left. The late icon's will refers to the trust he set up but the trust document itself is separate, and has just now been released.

As for how much the kids will get? That amount, along with the value of the estate, grows every month, thanks to executors John Branca and John McClain.

Jackson's June 2009 death sparked a new generation of interest in his music, and various tributes, movies and song releases continue to rake in the dough.

Jaafar Jackson: No Stranger to Family Violence

Michael Jackson's mom Katherine insists the recent incident involving Jermaine Jackson's son Jaafar and the stun gun he tried to use on Blanket was an isolated event.

Other reports seem to indicate otherwise, however. From what we've gathered, the attempted attack on MJ's son was indicative of the utter chaos in the house.

Jaafar Jackson is no stranger to playing with guns, according to TMZ, which got its hands on a disturbing video which appears to have been shot a few months ago.

In the tape, Jaafar barges in on brother Jermajesty's room (yes, Jermaine has a son named freaking Jermajesty), with gun drawn, ordering him to get on the ground.

Jaafar proceeds to push Jermajesty to the ground, pretend to pistol-whip him, handcuff him and give the youngster an incomplete version of his Miranda rights.

Jaafar then tells his brother, "Don't move or I'll bust your head open."

He went on to cock the gun, point it to Jermajesty's head, and pull the trigger until it clicks. Disturbing. The tape has not been made available for obvious reasons.

He then drags his "dead" bro by the leg out of the room.

As for the Blanket stun gun incident, sources say Jaafar pointed came at two of Michael's kids - Blanket and Prince - though the family says they weren't in the room.

Much as the Jacksons try to downplay it, officials aren't biting.

The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services are still reviewing the stun gun incident, but Jermaine Jackson should probably get his parenting act together.

Omer Bhatti to Michael Jackson's Kids: I Am Your Father!

Remember Omer Bhatti? Michael Jackson's former protege and alleged secret son, is treating Blanket, the late pop icon's youngest son, as if he were his own.

Bhatti has been living with the Jackson family and telling poor little Blanket, along with his siblings Prince and Paris, that he's their father, according to reports.

The 25-year-old Norwegian rapper, who is rumored to be Michael’s son, first showed up on the Jackson scene in 1996. There's no doubt he and MJ were close.

But you have to admit, it's pretty weird that Omer Bhatti tells Jackson’s children, “Call me Michael” introduces himself as Michael and is changing his name.

“Omar has even told the children he's changed his name from Omar Jamal Bhatti to Omar Michael Bhatti,” a source close to the dysfunctional family reveals.

At various times Bhatti has told Blanket, Paris and Prince that he is their father, that their father sent him to take care of him and that he is "a real Jackson."

The chaotic environment of the L.A. compound where MJ’s children live with their grandma, Katherine Jackson, and others has been in the news a lot lately.

California’s Department of Children and Family Services visited several times recently and has an open investigation into a stun gun incident involving Blanket.

As for Bhatti, he's lived there for some time: “He has infiltrated the Jackson family in a way that many find to be disturbing and detrimental to the children.”

He dresses identical to Michael, who seemed to revel in the confusion and controversy Omer generated. Michael even told some people that Omar was his son.

Joe Jackson says he is as well. Still, detractors say that since Michael died, Bhatti has latched on to the family and is manipulating Michael’s kids constantly.

“Prince has been particularly vulnerable to Omar and his claims,” the family source said. “He’s starting to believe Omar’s claims that Michael is his father.”

Long lost love child? Or random dude exploiting Michael’s traumatized children? Either way, he's living off the Jacksons’ money! Sweet deal!

Jermaine Jackson at Center of Stun Gun Drama

Jermaine Jackson, brother of the late Michael Jackson, has had some interesting things happen in his life. Most recently, his teenage son tried to taser Blanket.

A messy divorce between Jermaine and his ex-wife likely set events in motion that resulted in the stun gun drama that made headlines in this slow news week.

The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services came knockin' at the Jackson family home in L.A. after reports of the kids playing with a taser.

Here's the lowdown. Jermaine filed for divorce from Alejandra Jackson in 2004. The couple fought hard over child support. Pretty standard stuff at the time.

Despite their split, Jermaine pressured Alejandra to live with their two kids - Jaafar and Jermajesty (yes, Jer-effing-majesty) in the Jackson family home.

That way, he wouldn't have to pay her support.

DON'T TASE ME BRO: Jermaine could use a good zap.

However, Alejandra complained most of the support money she received actually came from Katherine Jackson, mother of Jermaine, Michael, Janet et al.

That support was often doled out in gift cards to Ralph's ... where Jaafar bought a credit card so he could buy a stun gun online to allegedly zap Blanket.

Resourceful little devil, no?

Alejandra Jackson has indeed been living at Katherine's with Jaafar and Jermajesty, plus Genevieve and Randall, her two children with ... Randy Jackson.

Yup, she was also married to another Jackson brother at one point.

Michael Jackson's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, have been living with Katherine, as per Michael Jackson's will, since he passed away last June.

She's got a lot on her plate, in other words, for a 79-year-old. As a result, the occasional taser may or may not slip through the cracks. Give her a break.
