One week from tonight, the girl who made the MTV reality show a hit will be on hand for the Live Reunion Show after the now-sagging series mercifully goes off the air.
The reunion will immediately follow the series finale of The Hills and the season finale of The City. Whitney Port reported the LC news, as well as her own attendance:
"I am so happy to tell you all that I will be attending the reunion, as will Lauren!" Whitney wrote on her official site. "I am so excited to see everyone and catch up."
"I am so excited to see what's next for them," the former Hills star and current City leading lady continued. "It's been so long since we have all been together."
REUNITED: For one night and one night only, next Tuesday.
What remains unclear is whether Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, exiled from the show in recent weeks without notice, will appear between now and July 13.
The gruesome twosome was featured prominently in the first part of this season, but then Spencer went haywire, they supposedly broke up in real life, etc.
It's not clear why, but there has been no explanation of their vanishing from the series. Tonight, the penultimate episode of The Hills airs, followed by The City.
The former will likely focus on Kristin and Audrina's predictably boring romantic drama. Sigh. We can only hope Speidi returns to liven things up one last time.
Soon after a trip to Tanzania last week with boyfriend Derek Hough, Cheryl Cole came down with a case of this dangerous disease. Friends told The Daily Mail that The X Factor judge was rushed to the hospital after a bout of "sweating and shaking" at home.
Cole will remain in the hospital for a few days and will need many weeks to recover from the ailment. Said a source:
"Cheryl hadn't been feeling herself for about a week. She was feeling tired and listless... During Sunday afternoon, Cheryl went downhill quickly. She was sweating and shaking and in a bad way."

She's beaten the rap before, but from the very beginning today, the star's attempts to evade jail for skipping mandatory alcohol education classes were doomed.
She has now made good on the classes, but that wasn't true in May, when she bailed on her last hearing and ended up free on bail wearing a SCRAM device.
Whether she remained free or not rested with no-nonsense Judge Marsha Revel, who sentenced LiLo after incredulous prosecutor Danette Meyers took it to her.
Hard core.
UP AGAINST IT: The evidence against her too strong and the judge no pushover, Lindsay and lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley were unable to defy the odds again.
Court proceedings began with a victory for the troubled star. Revel ruled out the matter of the SCRAM device going off after the MTV Movie Awards June 7.
The hearing was thus exclusively about whether Lindsay Lohan violated probation by not attending enough alcohol ed classes at the time of the last hearing.
Not that she was out of the woods by any means.
The Office Manager at the Right On program testified that the program knew the judge wanted Lindsay to attend class once a week, which she did not.
Co-owner Cheryl Marshall testified that she violated the program by failing to attend the classes and coming up with a variety of excuses throughout.
The program determined in both May and August 2009 that Lindsay's excuses were "endless and disrespectful" and that she was not in compliance.
Prosecutors are clearly not taking this lightly, running down the list of times - nine total - that Lindsay skipped class, often for weeks at a time no less.
Court adjourned until 1:30 PST, but when it resumed, it was clear that the evidence was piling up against Lohan - she violated probation, plain and simple.
There were lots more excuses, but ultimately they didn't fly. Revel laid the smack down on Lohan and sentenced her to almost three months in the can.
Lohan's probation was contingent upon her attending classes and staying clear of trouble following her 2007 DUI conviction. Suffice it to say, it didn't take.
The judge noted that there was a pattern of violations since Lindsay was placed on probation in 2007 following her plea bargain in her DUI case. Ya think?
Lindsay dissolved into tears when the judge imposed the sentence, then broke down as she addressed the court, telling the judge, "I did the best I could."
Because of that lifestyle choice, the 23-year-old has given up her privacy. In exchange, however, she just might have found true love with the father of eight.
Breaking her silence in her first-ever interview, Ellen recently told Pop on the Pop all about her surprisingly normal life with the reality star and much more.
Excerpts from Ellen Ross' Q&A with POTP below ...
On their first date: "It was a backyard barbecue. You get together, sit around, have drinks, talk. That’s just the kind of stuff we do. We’re like a regular couple."
On what she likes about Jon: "He’s funny, he’s very down to earth, he’s very laid back. Obviously, he’s a good father**! He’s fun to be around, always thinks of fun things to do. We actually have a lot in common; I think that’s why we get along so well."

On whether she had Jon get a tattoo of her name: "NO! Those were words taken out of context. The tattoo artist is my friend and has done work on me... I suggested, when Jon wanted to get a tattoo, that he go to my friend. That’s how that came up."
On staying under the radar: "I try to be myself. I don’t try to go anywhere in particular. We just do regular things like regular people do and if there happens to be somebody around that’s a reporter or somebody, they may take a picture on their own."
On public perception of her: "Anybody that says anything to me is supportive and they kind of feel for me for how certain things are perceived on the internet. I have yet to meet someone who strongly dislikes me to my face."
On doing reality TV one day: "I have no interest in doing that... I would NEVER do [a reality show], that is not the direction that I’d ever want my life to go into."
On who Ellen Ross really is: "I’m very down to earth. I like to avoid drama and I have a lot of close friends and I’m close with my family. I just try to go with the flow and take things as they come to me. I’m pretty personable. I’m easy to get along with."
To others, it means private yachts, drinking and a party so exclusive that bouncers actually bar the public from entering.
Count Kim Kardashian in the latter group, as she and Miles Austin stopped by a club named Avenue in Long Branch, New Jersey on Friday night. The pair shut down the place entirely, sources say, arriving around midnight and prompting the manager to take charge.

In last night's explosive interview on The Bachelorette, Jake accused his ex-fiancee of cheating with Michael, which she denied. "There [was] nothing," she said.
Michael says there was something, alright.
"That's a lie," the actor told Us Weekly. "We definitely made out that weekend [June 20] and Vienna made it very clear that it was over between her and Jake."
Girardi said they only danced for less than "nine seconds," but Michael counters: "I wouldn't say we danced for a few seconds. We danced as a group all night."
"We also danced alone for parts of the evening."
Was Vienna Girardi lying about her dalliances with Gregory Michael during last night's tell-all interview - and is Jake's now-single ex seeing the Greek star now?
Michael says she did tell the truth when she told Jake Pavelka that she hardly knew him: "At the time the interview was conducted, we hardly knew each other."
But he took aim at Jake when the former Bachelor star referred to him directly when saying, "That boy told me you cheated when he went on-the-record."
"I never said she cheated," Michael insisted. "I said we hooked up and she said they were broken up. I would never do that if she was in a relationship."
He says he doesn't know anything about Pavelka's claim that Vienna Girardi hooked up with other guys: "I don't know what flings Jake is referring to."
The ABC interview ended with Vienna storming out in tears after Jake raised his hand in anger and stunningly reprimanded her for interrupting him.
According to The Associated Press, Lohan will appear before Judge Marsha Revel in a Beverly Hills courtroom following the revocation of her probation in May after she missed a scheduled hearing because she was stuck at the Cannes Film Festival due to a lost passport (it was hiding at the bottom of a bottle of vodka).
Considering Lohan has missed multiple court appearances and failed to comply with all of the terms of the sentence stemming from her 2007 DUI, jail time hasn't been ruled-out - apparently if that is the case, she will be taken into custody immediately, meaning her Linda Lovelace biopic will be shelved :(
After the aforementioned incident three years ago, the actress pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving. She's also been accused of holding to guys hostage in a stolen car, but we're not sure if that's connected - it's too hard to keep up.
It was Judge Revel who ordered Lohan to wear the SCRAM bracelet in May. We don't think it's the same person as Strictly Come Dancing Judge Craig Revel Horwood, but you never know...
Too bad she didn't come up with the Paris Hilton get out of jail-free card at the time...
