Amber Portwood Laments Loss of Baby Leah

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood says having 2-year-old daughter Leah taken away by Child Protective Services and placed with her ex-fiance was a low point.

We can see that. The powers that be intervened for other reasons than her routine beatings of Gary Shirley, too. The attention Amber gets was a big concern.

"Child Protective Services agreed that it was safer for her to stay at Gary's because of all the photographers outside my house," says Amber Portwood.

Amber's now-infamous physical attacks on her ex have garnered national attention, and sparked a domestic abuse investigation by Anderson, Ind., police.

On medication to cope with anxiety, she calls the forced separation from Leah "is the lowest of the low. Every night she's been saying, 'Where's Mommy?'"

"I feel like everything is spinning out of control, and I'm just trying to put the pieces back together," she tells Us Weekly. "I have to get myself better.

"When I get my baby back, she'll see her mom as happy as can be."

On November 19, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will hit theaters around the nation. While readers continue to watch that movie's official trailer on THG, the stars of this beloved franchise hit the red carpet this week for a premiere in London.

Coming Monday: Michael Jackson Featuring Akon!

The first new single from Michael Jackson's posthumous album Michael will be a duet with Akon, a song entitled "Hold My Hand" that actually leaked in 2008.

The track, which will debut Monday on michaeljackson (dot) com, was recorded in 2007. A raw, incomplete version was eventually leaked to the public.

Michael will feature a total of 10 tracks, including "Hold My Hand" and the already controversial "Breaking News," when it's released December 14.

Would he guest star on Glee? It would be cool to make an appearance on it because it's a fun show. It gets all these geeks who love music. I think that's great. That's the category I was in. I wasn't the most athletic person. I didn't really fit in anywhere. Even the people who were in music, they were very good [and] technically musical, so I didn't feel like I'd fit in with them. I just loved music and how it made me feel.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are all over each other in Brazil. The two have been spotted making out on the set of Breaking Dawn.

Away from the cameras, though, the couple is also making a point of getting away from the crew.

Hollywood Life reports that movie employees have rented out a $5,000/night residence in Paraty, but “[Rob and Kristen] are staying at [another house] next door... it’s about a five minute boat ride away." And it looks VERY luxurious:

Stewart and Pattinson "have about 20 security guards" around them at all times, this source adds, saying "they don’t leave the house for any reason.”

But that's not because locals are upset that this installment of the Twilight Saga is shooting in the region.

“They are not against it,” says an insider. “In Rio de Janeiro, they arrived around midnight, and they closed some streets and no one could get back to their houses... that was the only problem.”

Farrah Abraham Denies Child Abuse Claims

Embattled Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham says that despite what the rumors and her haters might say, she's a model parent to her baby daughter, Sophia.

Amid claims she left Sophia at day care for 12 hours a day and up to seven times a week, she defiantly declared Friday: "I would never forget my daughter."

Childcare worker Brittney Scheer, a licensed provider in Council Bluffs, Iowa, says Farrah walked in, "showed me the diaper bag and went out the door."

Busy as she is, Farrah feels she's a model single parent.

"I'd have Sophia all day, every day," Scheer said. "Farrah left the baby with me to run errands and shoot MTV. Sometimes she'd forget to come get her."

Farrah Abraham, who's fighting for control of Sophia with the family of her late boyfriend, Derek Underwood, says in an interview that this is baloney.

Asked why Scheer would lie, Farrah answered "to use Sophia to make money from that magazine ... it's really sad that somebody would use a child."

Defending her lifestyle and parenting decisions, she says, "I don't know how I would EVER forget my daughter. I love her and she's all I think about."

According to Scheer, Sophia's development seems worryingly slow and she couldn't walk. Farrah says she can, and has been for about nine months.

Noting that Brittney hasn't seen Sophia in months, Abraham calls her daughter "a nice child" who "knows her manners and is friendly with others."

As for life as a single mom, she admits "It's VERY difficult. The first time I had to drop Sophia off at my grandparents' house, I cried. It tears you apart."

"I'm always very concerned and looking out for her, also, I just want to say that she always has clean clothes, food and has everything she needs."

"The only time I use a babysitter right now is when my mom or grandmother can't watch Sophia, when I'm at school or working I have to use a babysitter for a few hours sometimes. I have responsibilities and I'm a single parent."

Seriously, ABC?

Apparently unaware that there are still actual celebrities in existence, the network is developing a new talk show starring Tori Spelling and Jeff Lewis.

Lewis is best known from the Bravo reality show Flipping Out and his adventures in real estate. He buys homes, fixes them and resells them for money.

Get ready for daytime TV's answer to Will & Grace.

Tori Spelling is best known as Donna on Beverly Hills: 90210 and approximately three dozen reality shows since then (thank you Oxygen).

We kid ... mostly. In a test shoot last week, the two had good chemistry in what is being billed as the talk show version of Will & Grace.

Kanye West to the Today Show: Kiss Off!

Kanye West says there's NO WAY he's returning to the Today show later this month, as he was scheduled to do, after his testy interview with Matt Lauer this week.

A few hours ago, he Tweeted: "I'm not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons. I'm so happy the world got to see just a small piece of 'the set up.'"

In this week's interview, Kanye's infamous criticism of George W. Bush was rehashed by Lauer, but what ticked the rapper off was video clips aired by Today.

There was no love lost on the Today set this week.

Kanye grew increasingly agitated when the show aired footage of W.'s pained reaction to West's post-Katrina remarks and later of the Taylor Swift VMA incident.

At the end of that interview, Lauer said he still expected Kanye to do their show on Black Friday, as scheduled, but a rep confirms that Kanye's officially out.

By unanimous decision, former Ultimate Fighting champ and Dancing with the Starscontestant Chuck Liddell has pinned Heidi Northcott ... for life!

Jessica Simpson Flips Over Nick Lachey-Vanessa Minnillo Engagement

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey just got engaged, and according to Us Weekly, his previous spouse, Jessica Simpson is "flipping out" over the news.

Only a good way, of course.

"I am extremely, extremely happy for him," she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. "My mom actually called me and said that everyone was saying that I was 'saddened.' I was just in complete shock. I couldn't be more happy for Nick."
