Kara DioGuardi: Mum on Simon Cowell's Replacement

As American Idol delves deeper into its ninth season, fans will start to concentrate on potential break-out artists and finalists such as Katelyn Epperly and Aaron Kelly.

For now, though, the upcoming departure of Simon Cowell is still a major topic. What does Kara DioGuardi think about her fellow judge saying goodbye?

"He's a huge part of the show," she said at a Golden Globes party. "He's got one of the best personalities ever on a television show... He's made the show hugely successful, and he's going to be very missed."

Who might fill Cowell's seat? DioGuardi seemed stumped by that question, but doesn't believe Ryan Seacrest will pull double duty on future seasons.

"I don't see Ryan giving up what he's currently doing on Idol," she said. "What he's doing now works for him perfectly... I have no idea who will or who should replace Simon."

Erin Muller Off the Hook For Michael Lohan Head-Kicking

Erin Muller will not face charges for allegedly kicking her ex Michael Lohan in the head. This just weeks after she has accused him of kicking her in the va-jay-jay.

Mike and his ex clearly had a very healthy relationship.

A judge declared that Michael had it coming the misdemeanor charge has been dismissed. Michael claimed he was assaulted by Erin Muller on November 14.

The father of Lindsay Lohan claimed he tried to stop Erin from driving because she was too "drunk and high" and that's when she allegedly kicked his dome.

A judge in New York's Nassau County Court dismissed the criminal case against Erin this morning, though. Michael's restraining order against Erin was unaffected.

Erin recently filed papers claiming she's the real victim, accusing Michael of abusing her over a dozen times in 2007-2008, including a kick to her lady region.

Michael has denied her allegations.

Then again, this is a guy who records all his phone calls, and also fake-Tweeted a suicide note to get attention, so you really can't take his word at face value.

Tiger Woods in Rehab: First Photo

Multiple sites reported last week and a reliable source confirmed Tuesday that Tiger Woods is in rehab for sexual addiction at a clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The world's #1 golfer has not been seen since crashing his car into a tree right after Thanksgiving ... until the photo published by the National Enquirer today.

Tiger is partaking in the Gentle Path program, part of Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, a leader in treating sexually compulsive behavior.

The details of Tiger's treatment and has solved the mystery of his location are finally being revealed. The photo below, while grainy, looks to be Woods ...

According to the report, eyewitness confirm the man in the photograph is Tiger, saying that while he was bundled up, the golfer was recognizable in person.

Another sign he's really there? A huge fence is now being erected around the facility where Tiger reportedly checked into a six-week program December 30.

Two local TV stations have reported he is in the sex addiction rehab facility and a writer for the New York Times magazine confirmed it yesterday morning.

The question is whether it will help him salvage his image, and more importantly his marriage, amid rumors that Elin is considering leaving with the kids.

Cindy McCain Supports Gay Marriage

Who would have thought Cindy McCain would have something in common with Kim Kardashian and Tila Tequila?

And, for once, we're not referring to Cindy's penchant for flaunting her cleavage in public!

Instead, like those outspoken reality stars, the wife of former Republican Presidential candidate John McCain has come out in favor of marriage equality.

She's the latest celebrity to pose for photographer Adam Bouska's NoH8 Campaign, which was created in response to the passage of Proposition 8 in California.

Cindy McCain for NoH8

Writes Bouska:

"Aligning yourself with the platform of gay marriage as a Republican still tends to be very stigmatic, but Cindy McCain wanted to participate in the campaign to show people that party doesn't matter - marriage equality isn't a Republican issue any more than it is a Democratic issue.

It's about human rights, and everybody being treated equally in the eyes of the law that runs and protects this country."

Amen, Cindy! We apologize for ever referring to you as a Stepford Wife.

Selena Gomez and Adam Lambert to Fans: Help Haiti

While this month's earthquake in Haiti has led to incomprehensible damage and death figures, there's been the tiniest of silver linings:

Countless celebrities have come together in support of the victims in that poor, needy nation. Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Madonna and many others have donated money to the cause, while George Clooney has organized a telethon that will air on every major network this Friday night.

Among the young stars that will appear on the telecast are Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron and Taylor Swift. We can now add Selena Gomez to that list.

S. Gomez

The 17-year-old actress posted the following on her Facebook page today:

“I will be on the phones during George Clooney & Joel Gallen’s Hope for Haiti Now telethon this Friday from 5pm to 7pm PST. I am so honored to be an active participant in this amazing fund raising event.

"Be sure to tune in, you cannot miss it it is on MTV, over 30 major TV networks, and CNN worldwide. Let’s all come together and help those in Haiti.”

We couldn't agree more, Selena.

Adam Lambert is also on board with the cause. Below, watch his PSA on behalf of the Red Cross.

Presenting: Twilight: The Graphic Novel

Attention, Twi-Hards:

We know Eclipse comes out on June 30. And New Moon will be released on DVD on March 20.

But this is far too long to wait for more Twilight Saga madness. That's why you should mark your calendar for March 16.

That's the date on which 350,000 copies of Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Vol. 1 hits stores. It's also the date on which stores get sold out of 350,000 copies of Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Vol. 1.

Twilight Graphic Novel

The comic book-like tome contains drawings of Twilight characters by artist Young Kim. Said Meyer of the graphic novel:

"I was definitely involved. I didn’t do the original “script” for the book, so to speak. But when I got the dialogue with the images, I did a lot of tinkering... I asked for missing scenes to be inserted. For example, the conversation in the car that Bella and Edward have after she faints in Biology."

We're all familiar with that one, aren't we?

So, how does Kim envision Edward and Bella? They look a bit different from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on page. Take a look and let us know: will you purchase this book?
