An authopsy revealed this week that Brittany Murphy did not die from an illegal drug overdose. As a result, her widower Simon Monjack said:

TMZ reported today that “between 2003-2009, Brittany had scores of prescriptions filled for 32 different drugs … and that was at just one L.A. pharmacy — and it’s not Eddie’s Pharmacy, the one that cut her off 4 months before her death because the owner feared an accident loomed. ”
Apparently, despite Murphy’s widower’s remark, the actress did have a drug “affinity”, and among the prescriptions she used to take were two sedatives (chlordiazepoxide and promethazine) and a drug similar to Prozac named Sarafem.
It’s not a big shocker that Kate Gosselin sucked last night on the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars.
I’m a serious Kate hater and a serious Dancing hater so I didn’t watch the show, but I did watch a few seconds of the clip to see just how awkward she was so I could laugh at her.

Sources say Suge and his entourage are suspects and that authorities want to question them. This has happened to Knight probably a few hundred times before.

The hot-tempered music legend is minding his tongue after having several teeth knocked out by a fellow inmate at the state prison in Corcoran, Calif.
"Phil has quite a mouth on him," says longtime pal Steven Escobar. "Not everyone understands his humor. He said the wrong thing to the wrong inmate."
Lacking any of his trusty firearms, poor Phil Spector wound up with a bruised nose, a black eye and the loss of a couple of caps, according to Escobar.

"He mouthed off to a big guy, who punched him," a source says of Phil, who's serving 19 years to life for shooting Lana Clarkson in the mouth in 2003.
"At first, Phil said that he fell down a flight of stairs," says Escobar of his incarcerated buddy. "Later, he told family and friends what really happened."
A spokesman for Spector's wife, Rachelle, initially corroborated that there was a jail house incident in November, telling the N.Y. Daily News: "There are safety concerns."
"We don't want the people who put him in this position to retaliate."
Rachelle did a 180, saying: "Phil was not assaulted. Absolutely not."
Looks like Sarah Palin is coming to the Discovery Channel.
A deal for the former governor and current professional celebrity's reality series, Sarah Palin's Alaska, is expected to be announced by the network in the coming days.
The travel series, produced by Mark Burnett, would feature Alaska's ex-governor giving tours of the state. Hopefully some Todd Palin snow machine shots are featured.
Sarah Palin started shopping around the show this month. Major networks passed, but Discovery showed interest. It could air on Discovery or its sister network, TLC.

The late Brittany Murphy, who passed away in December, received no fewer than 200 pills a month from January 2008-August 2009, and sometimes as many as 400.
The actress used an alias, Lola Manilow Murphy, at Eddie's Pharmacy in L.A. for nearly two years before the pharmacy finally cut her off four months before she died.
Pharmacy records show Murphy got regular prescriptions for hydrocodone (Vicodin), clonazepam and Klonopin (anxiety), and Vicoprofen (a Vicodin/ibuprofen combo).
What's more, she doubled up on some prescriptions certain months.

For example, during one month in particular, Murphy was prescribed 200 hydrocodone and 100 clonazepam; another month it was 300 Vicoprofen and 100 Klonopin.
All the prescriptions were prescribed by Dr. Richard Kroop. One of many doctors under investigation in the case, he was paid a visit by authorities Friday afternoon.
The owner of Eddie's Pharmacy told TMZ he cut Brittany and her family off months before her death because, "We thought there was going to be an accident there."

HBO started rerunning season two of True Blood this week and started airing this way-too-short teaser clip of Eric fighting someone as well as an oddly sexy close up video of Eric. It’s all about Eric Northman. Bill who? They’ve even created a sort of Eric fan page on their website so fans get more info on the ancient vampire’s background.
HBO has announced that the third season will premiere on June 13. It began shooting in December 2009 with real-life wolves brought to the set in order to depict the werewolves as close to the animal as possible. As of last week, Ryan Kwanten confirmed that filming is still on-going.

In his first two interviews since his November car crash and sordid sex scandal, Tiger Woods spoke with ESPN's Tom Rinaldi and Golf Channel's Kelly Tilghman about his "transgressions," subsequent treatment and upcoming return to golf.
The most repeated sound bite: "I've done some pretty bad things in my life."
Ya think?! But to his credit, he at least took tough questions and was sober-sounding, apologetic and maybe even sincere, unlike his February apology speech.
"I was living a life of a lie, I really was. Stripping away denial and rationalization you start coming to the truth of who you really are and that can be ugly," he said.
Of his public apology, "When you face it and you start conquering it and you start living up to it, the strength that I feel now, I've never felt that type of strength."
Apologizing to his wife Elin and mother Kultida about his many mistresses were the "low points" for Woods, who gave five minutes to both ESPN and Golf Channel.
"I hurt them the most," he said. "Those are the two people in my life who I'm closest to – and to say the things that I've done truthfully to them was very painful."
While he wouldn't go into the post-Thanksgiving meltdown, saying it's either in the police report or between Elin Woods and himself, he was asked some hard ones.
But why not seek help sooner? "I didn't know I was that bad."
On why he had so many affairs? "Just one is enough."
While we would have preferred he comment on his Joslyn James sexting, Tiger did have a great line about fans' reaction to his comeback, saying "It would be nice to hear a couple claps here and there ... I hope they clap for birdies too."
Tiger also confirmed he's not finished with treatment.
"As far as my schedule going forward," he said. "I don't know what I'm going to do. What I know I have to do is become a better person, and that begins with more treatment. Just because I'm competing again doesn't mean I'm done."

Literally. MTV has instructed their rag tag band of juiced up meatheads and mediocre skanks to pack their stuff and prepare to defame an unnamed new city.
Camera crews will apparently start paying visits to the homes of Snooki, The Situation, DJ Pauly D, Ronnie, Vinny, Jwoww, and Sammi this coming weekend.
The network is attempting to get footage of them all as they attempt to cram tanning beds, industrial strength cans of gel and Ed Hardy shirts into carry-ons.

The Jersey Shore cast is supposed to fly out to Season 2's mystery location some time next week ... where will they be creepin' on, exactly? It's a bit unclear.
All indications are that it will be Miami's South Beach, which is really the only logical destination, although this has not officially been confirmed by the network.
We could see that ... unlike, say, Jersey Shore: Cape Cod.
Also no word yet on whether Angelina Pivarnick made the cut and was asked to come along, or if anyone besides us even knows who Angelina Pivarnick is.
Who knew Jesse James and mistress Michelle McGee had more in common than tattoos, adultery and general trashiness: He's got a Nazi photo spread too!
According to TMZ, there is a photo of James making the rounds in which he wearing a hat identical to the one Michelle McGee wore in her Nazi photo shoot.
In his picture, Jesse James is making the Nazi salute.
The photo, taken two years ago, is undeniably him, and the hat Jesse is wearing is nearly the same as what's sported by Michelle McGee in her Nazi pics. Bizarre.
We knew Jesse James was an a$$hole. But a Nazi?!
Even better (worse), in his photo, Jesse is holding up his right hand in a "Heil Hitler" pose ... and with his left hand he is sort of covering his mouth with two fingers.
As in mimicking Hitler's mustache? Can this get any more sickening? Who does that? Apparently Sandra Bullock's husband, when he's not too busy cheating on her.
The woman selling the Nazi picture says she didn't actually take it (yeah, likely story), rather, it belonged to a friend who happened to be working with Jesse James.
The friend supposedly doesn't know it's been hawked. Stay tuned.
