TLC Kicks Jon Gosselin to the Curb

Despite settling its lawsuit with Jon Gosselin and retaining his services legally and exclusively, TLC does not want the douche back on the air anytime soon.

Or at all.

TLC’s parent company sued Jon for breaching his contract and won a preliminary injunction against him in late 2009 before the two sides settled this week.

While the issue of whether or not to bring back Jon & Kate Plus 8 has been discussed internally at TLC, the one component that everyone agrees on is this:

“TLC is done with Jon. They have him under contract still, but they don’t plan to use him,” a source dished, although it remains unclear if / how Jon & Kate Plus 8 (or just Kate Plus 8) will still be brought back in some capacity.

“The show could come back as a series of specials,” the source said. “It made the network a lot of money.” Especially after Jon began railing Deanna Hummel.

At least in the immediate future, however, the network has no plans to bring the show back right now, and is focusing instead on Kate Gosselin’s new show.

Jon? He's got nothing going on. Terms were confidential, but the lawsuit settlement likely bars him from making money via other entertainment channels.

We just feel bad for Morgan Christie. She's dating Jon for publicity, and between this and general lack of interest in him, it looks like he's going to get less.

Gia Allemand: Single, Heartbroken Over The Bachelor

Despite rumors that she was dating someone else while competing for Jake Pavelka's heart, The Bachelor reject Gia Allemand says she was (and is) a single gal.

Appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, the model subtly shot down a New York Post report that she has a boyfriend and pretended to be single.

When Ellen DeGeneres asked Gia Allemand if she's dating, the reality star says, "I'm actually going to have my first date next week. My first date in a while."

That conflicts with claims of alleged lover Dominick Pierno, a Long Island restauranteur who told the Post, "She was on the show and said she broke up with me."

"Meanwhile, we had dinner at Philippe the other night."

Gia Allemand finished third on this season of The Bachelor.

The 26-year-old stunner said she was fully invested in The Bachelor, and "it took me a while" to get over Jake Pavelka, "with my heart broken and everything."

Throwing salt on the wound? Seeing this week's episode.

"I finally got over it but then I was watching the show Monday night," she says, "I was, like, hysterical in my hotel room. I was like oh my, that really hurt."

Gia also has some interesting comments about public enemy #1 Vienna Girardi, who she describes as a "really good person." Umm, what? That's a new one!

Is Vienna just being railroaded by exes and ABC editors? Or was Gia just not as riled up by her as Ali Fedotowsky and Tenley Molzahn? Interesting debate.

Tiger Woods: Headed Back to Rehab?

Tiger Woods is merely on a break and will be returning to sex addiction rehab therapy after he addresses the media later this morning, according to a letter penned by PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem to the tour's policy board.

"As we understand it, Tiger's therapy calls for a week's break at this time during which he has spent a few days with his children and then will make his statement before returning," Finchem said in a letter obtained by the Associated Press.

"Accordingly, there was little flexibility in the date for the announcement."

The PGA confirmed that Woods left a treatment facility last week, though no one official has come right out and said he was being treated for a sex addiction.

Woods should confirm that himself today when he breaks his silence.

Tiger Woods is expected to confirm today that he is seeking treatment.

"This is the time frame that met with his rehab schedule, coming out for a little bit, being with his family for a little bit, doing this, it just worked," Finchem said.

"He got out of rehab last week, he spent some time with his family and he had some time for this tomorrow, and he'll address the details of that tomorrow."

"I will leave that to him."

It is unclear if Tiger will discuss his future with his wife - and whether Elin will leave him - or whether his estranged spouse will be by his side this morning.

Woods, according to numerous accounts, checked into Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Miss., back in mid-January.

He will be speaking for the first time since his Thanksgiving car crash at 11 a.m. EST. A leaked statement attributed to him yesterday appears bogus.

Kris Allen, American Idol to Help Haiti

Over the last couple years, American Idol has made impressive use of its forum to raise money for important cause with its Idol Gives Back special.

That event will take place again on April 21. But Kris Allen and Fox will help bring attention to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti long before that.

Last season's champion has headed to that ravaged nation and will perform on the February 25 edition of Idol. He'll share live footage from his trip and ask viewers to make donations online or via text message during the episode.

"It is heartbreaking to see the devastation that Haiti is currently facing," Allen said. "I am truly honored to be traveling to Haiti to see the U.N.'s relief efforts firsthand and to help out any way that I can."

Meanwhile, Jennifer Hudson is the latest celebrity to don a milk mustache and remind fellow new mothers that the drink is chock full of important nutrients.

“As a new mom, I’m trying to make the best choices for my family and me, which includes making sure milk is on our table every day,” Hudson says.

Doug Reinhardt, MTV Sued For Trashing Hills Pad

A nasty war between Doug Reinhardt and his landlord has resulted in a lawsuit in which the people behind The Hills are being sued for trashing some guy's house.

Man, no one likes that show anymore!

It began when Reinhardt, a.k.a. the boy toy of Paris Hilton, sued his landlord back in September, claiming the guy stiffed him out of a $21,000 security deposit.

Doug put that down on a Hollywood Hills home featured on the show. The landlord withheld it because Doug, he said, used it for The Hills without permission.

Moreover, the landlord also claims Doug Reinhardt and MTV caused "substantial physical and other damage" to the home while taping and is suing them for it.

DOUGIE LIKES: Reinhardt isn't smiling over this legal drama.

The landlord is going after Doug, MTV and Viacom for damaging the home and invading his privacy, plus he's accusing MTV of trespassing. Clearly he is not pleased!

He's asking for unspecified damages and attorney's fees.

Doug's rep shot back that he has photographic evidence proving he didn't trash the house ... and there was "no prohibitions to filming" in his contract with the guy.

He and Paris Hilton have plenty of experience getting the cops called on them for disputes at their respective places, but he's breaking new ground with this one.

Lisa Rinna to Heidi Montag: Sorry

Perhaps realizing that the pot was calling the kettle black hard core, Lisa Rinna is apologizing to Heidi Montag for comments about the latter's plastic surgery.

Rinna said that she wouldn't allow her two daughters to see Heidi Montag pictures in People after The Hills star had 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day.

The 46-year-old Rinna, who has had Botox, lip-plumping and breast implants gone terribly awry in her own right, says that she didn't mean any hard feelings.

"I apologize to Miss Montag if my words were taken and used against her in the press," she Twittered. "I did not slam her or her surgeries for the record."

For the record, that's exactly what she did. But no matter.

A couple (of gross) peas in a pod. The plastic torch is passed.

While Rinna's intentions were spot-on - letting her little girls look at Heidi Montag is definitely a bad idea - what can she say, given all the work she's had done?

For her part, Montag didn't seem too bummed out. Asked about her second breast augmentation (giving her DDD boobs) by Us Weekly, she lamented simply:

"I didn't get them as big as I originally wanted!"

Horrible, society-draining, fame-seeking mother of octuplets and six other freaking kids Nadya Suleman is going to be dropping by The View next week.

Whoop dee $h!t.

Nadya Suleman will be a guest on the hit program that has made her lifestyle and her children a frequent topic of debate for the better part of a year now.

The general consensus: She sucks. And is insane.

Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd begin grilling her dumb ass (hopefully) Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Oh, but apparently it is.

Despite gaining international attention last year for giving birth to octuplets, the second full set of octuplets born alive in the U.S., Nadya Suleman had six kids already.

She conceived all 14 kids by in vitro fertilization and has no f*%king job. Although that may change, at long last, if she is given a gig she's seeking as a game show host.

Yes, really.

Quite the example to set and way to contribute to society, Nads. The octuplets turned one year old in January. The city of La Habra, Calif., is slowly going bankrupt.

Ronnie Magro Apologizes For Use of Gay Slurs

Jersey Shore star Ronnie Magro has issued an apology for the homophobic rampage he went on during one of his many fights on the freshman MTV reality series.

The hothead gets in so many brawls, it's hard to even keep them straight. But after letting loose some gay slurs in one of the, Ronnie says he got carried away.

Blaming the whole ordeal on "the heat of the moment," Ronnie says he's sorry for the disgusting rant in question, which was made public earlier this week.

Never-before-seen footage of his first Jersey Shore brawl leaked online, and made Ronnie look like an even bigger idiot than The Situation is a womanizer.

Before this, Ronnie Magro was one of the most likable Jersey Shore stars.

In the video, Ronnie can be heard calling a guy on the boardwalk a "f**king f**got" and a "f**king queer" right before he beats the hell out of him. What a class act.

Yesterday, Ronnie posted on Twitter: "I apologize to my fans, In the heat of the moment i said a lot of things i didnt mean and im very sorry... i love my creepy fans."

Maybe they'll still love him, but we've lost respect. Why those words are even in people's vocabulary in this day and age is beyond us. Wouldn't "a$$hole" suffice?

No word how Sammi Giancola reacted to Ronnie's apology, or if they are broken up or getting back together at this very minute. One can never be sure with them.

Kristen Stewart Doesn't Hate Fame

She might rarely been seen with a smile on her face, but that doesn't mean Kristen Stewart hates being a celebrity as much as some think.

While promoting the movie The Yellow Handkerchief, Stewart admitted that she can get sick of the paparazzi invading her personal space, but she also understands it comes with the territory.

"I can't say I don't want that, because people take it to the extreme and say that I hate it," Kristen told E! News. "No, no, no! That's not true."

If it's taken Stewart longer than most to adjust, it's because she never saw any of this coming. When she first signed on for Twilight, the actress says she couldn't have predicted that she and Robert Pattinson would cover every tabloid on the market.

"We didn't even know we were going to make a second one. We were just like, 'It's really cool. It's different and we've never seen a love story like this.' I thought it would just be another cool Catherine Hardwicke movie."

It was... and then some!

As for rumors that Breaking Dawn will be split into two movies?

"It looks like a 'yes,' but it's still not concrete," Stewart said. "It would be hard to cram all of it into one movie."

If the final book really is broken into a pair of films, Kristen will remain in the spotlight for that much longer. Hopefully, she's at least smiling on the inside over that possibility.

Family Guy Actress Who Mocked Sarah Palin Says She Has No Sense of Humor

Sunday's episode of Fox's Family Guy drew condemnation from Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska, 2008 V.P. nominee and mother of a special needs baby.

On the show, teenager Chris dates a girl named Ellen who has Down Syndrome and tells him over dinner that her mother is “the former governor of Alaska.”

Sarah Palin, whose son Trig has Down Syndrome, lashed out at Family Guy, which she says “really isn’t funny” and is the work of “cruel, cold-hearted people.”

The Republican politician also involved her teenage daughter Bristol for some reason and plugged her Facebook page a lot in various statements. Whatever.

This and other non-PC Family Guy quotes have drawn ample criticism, but one woman clearly in the corner of the Fox comedy is Andrea Fay Friedman (below).

Sarah Palin might like to hear herself talk more than anyone in history think Family Guy is offensive and hurtful, but this voice actress is sticking by the controversial show.

The 39-year-old actress and public speaker - who voiced Ellen on the Family Guy episode - has Down syndrome herself, and says that it's okay to laugh.

We didn't see that coming. She emailed this to the New York Times:

"I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line 'I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska' was very funny.

I think the word is 'sarcasm.' In my family we think that laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life."

Simon Cowell Approves of Howard Stern, Perez Hilton as Replacements

Simon Cowell would like to get one thing out of the way: He's not engaged to Mezhgan Hussainy.

Personal questions aside, the American Idol spoke to reporters yesterday and addressed reports of who might replace him as a judge next season.

“I think they’ll find somebody who’s got that kind of experience, whether it’s a manager, artist, or like me, an A & R executive,” he said.

What about two of the most prominent names being bantered about: Howard Stern and Perez Hilton?

“I know Howard’s name has been in there for a while, but I’m fairly certain that there hasn’t been an approach at any time for Howard to do the show... He’s played records. He’s a DJ. He obviously wants the job. Good luck to him.”

What about the world's most self-obsessed celebrity gossip blogger? “Perez would be funny. He’s got a good taste in music, he’s a personality — that could work.”

As for Cowell's favorites this season, he won't specify any contestant. But his words make it clear that he's in the corner of female singers such as Crystal Bowersox and Didi Benami.

“There’s definitely a better chance of a girl winning the show. I’d love to find a Taylor Swift, somebody who’s relevant rather than just a contest winner.”

It's been a big week for Kim Kardashian.

Earlier this week, Simon Cowell said he hoped a female would come out on top of American Idol

this season.

As loyal fans know, the judges often tweak comments and try to manipulate votes in the direction of contestants they're cheering for, so this is a comment worth taking seriously.

Two people that would love to prove Simon correct are Ashley Rodriguez and Lilly Scott. Both stood out after a week in Hollywood, but each for different reasons.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie: Engaged!

Man, this makes us feel old.

Hillary Duff, who we first started to follow in 2001 when she was a 14-year old Lizzie McGuire, is engaged. Long-time boyfriend, and Edmonton Oilers star, Mike Comrie popped the question to the actress in Maui this week.

This is actually the second accepted proposal between a singer and hockey player in the last couple months: Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher got engaged in late December.

Duff was most recently seen on the small screen during a six-episode arc on Gossip Girl.
