New ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ trailer debuts. Goosebumple overdose in progress.
I’m finding it difficult to type, Popwatchers, because I’ve just watched the first full trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and my entire body is currently riddled with goosebumples. Before I apparate you over the jump so y’all can watch the trailer and discover for yourself the sensation of a goosebumple overdose, a word of warning: The opening of this trailer includes an iconic and surprising moment between Harry and Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest. Those of you who’ve read the final Harry Potter book know exactly which scene I’m talking about, but those of you who haven’t — those of you who’ve only consumed Harry Potter as a cinematic experience, and not a literary one — may find this scene to be a big honking spoiler. Indeed, pretty much all of the footage ahead, and my thoughts on it, aren’t for those who prefer to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with virgin eyes. For the rest of you: Accio goosebumples!
First impression: Our dear Harry looks like an adult, and not just physically. The Boy Who Lived lived through so much during what should have been his final year at Hogwarts, and you can see it in Daniel Radcliffe’s world-weary eyes. Beyond that, I daresay this trailer actually managed to live up Warner Bros.’s decidedly un-British ballyhooing about the Potter series being a “WORLDWIDE PHENOMENON” and this two-part finale being “THE MOTION PICTURE EVENT OF A GENERATION.” We caught glimpses of Harry’s tussle with Voldemort’s snake Nagini, the flight from the Dursley’s, the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry and Voldemort’s final showdown, and, whoops, yep, the goosebumples are back just writing about it.
I know I should be flustered that that final showdown does not appear to be as J.K. Rowling wrote it — i.e. inside the rubble-strewn Great Hall, with practically everyone in Harry’s life surrounding him — but I’m honestly not. In fact, the only thing that elicited a cocked eyebrow was the notion that I somehow need to complete this journey in 3-D.
But what do you make of the new Deathly Hallows trailer, Popwatchers? Are you currently all with the goosebumples, currently all with the wondering why I call them goosebumples – because, well, why not? – or currently all with the wondering why you’ve even read this far given the fact that you couldn’t care less about Harry Potter?
Alicia Keys Baby Bump Watch: Live in NYC
She announced last month that she is pregnant and engaged to Swizz Beatz, but Alicia Keys is showing no signs of slowing down just yet.
The singer performed her mega-hit "Empire State of Mind" and more for Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series in NYC Friday.
Is that the first traces of a baby bump we see?
Baby bump or not, Alicia Keys looks terrific!
This is the first child for Keys, 29, and it will be her first marriage. Swizz Beatz, 31, who has dated her for years, has two sons from previous relationships.
Good timing, too: Keys' four-month-long Freedom Tour wrapped up June 4 and she recently performed at the World Cup kickoff concert in South Africa.
Mena Suvari and Simone Sestito: Married!
Mena Suvari wed music producer Simone Sestito in Vatican City on Saturday in a "very romantic and traditional Italian" wedding with a few hundred guests.
It's the second marriage for the American Beauty star, who wed cinematographer Robert Brinkman, 17 years her senior, in 2000 before splitting in 2005.
Walking down the aisle, Suvari wore a gown by good friend Stacey Bendet, owner of Alice + Olivia. She had been engaged to Simone Sestito since 2008.
"He got down his knees," Suvari said last fall. "It was very romantic. I love him. It's all about family and culture. I love his family and it just inspires me."
Sestito is just as smitten. "The thing I love most about her is the understanding," he said. "We get each other alot, so there's a good connection there."
Sounds like it. Congratulations, kids!

Ne-Yo and Monyetta Shaw: Expecting First Child!
Ne-Yo is going to be a father.
The singer recently told Ebony he is expecting his first child, and that he recently flew home to Atlanta to be with his girlfriend during her first ultrasound.
"I am 30 and I do have my first child on the way, and I am very, very, very excited about that," Ne-Yo revealed. Ne-Yo's baby mama is Monyetta Shaw.
Joking that his firstborn will be "stubborn, he revealed that his girlfriend is due to give birth in early 2011, meaning they must have just found out.
"It's a New Year's baby," said Ne-Yo, whose new album is set for September 21 release. "I'm just in a really good place in life right now."

Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami (and Chicago), Scott Gets Wasted
Wow. What an amazing coincidence: the same week E! airs an episode of Kourtney and Khloe Takes Miami that focuses on Scott Disick being a pathetic drunk, that loser happens to get in a filmed fight with his neighbor.
It's almost as if the marketing team planned it that way!
Below, a THG intern offers up her thoughts on this week's installment of the most scripted show on television...
It’s weird that Kourtney said she doesn’t go to clubs when she’s photographed at them ALL THE TIME and was at one two episodes ago. Still, this gave her a chance to get out of town with Khloe and head to Chicago.
You’d think Kourt would want to support Scott’s club opening, but nope. She goes to the Windy City and pushes around Mason while walking next to Khloe, who literally is a foot taller than her in one scene.
The girls are in Chicago to explore Khloe’s obsession with all things forensics and serial killers. She meets with a renowned doctor to do some investigating. As the doctor is explaining what a sociopath is, Khloe is having flashbacks and relating everything to Scott. She reallyyyy has it out for the guy.
Meanwhile, back in Miami Scott’s friends fly down for the opening of his club “MIA.” When they visit the store, the boys invite the Dash employees, who respond with: “We know it’s a bad idea, but we should go anyway to show we are on Kourtney’s side.”
What?!? That’s the most illogical rationalization I’ve ever heard. Inappropriate all around.
Scott feels the need to prove to this boys that he’s not a boring ol’ dad and can still hang. So he chugs Patron - and gets drunk. He calls one of the girls a hooker, the girl cries and then goes home.
While it’s never polite to call a girl a hooker, the girl really didn’t need to overdramatically beer tear about it. You’re hanging out with Scott Disick, he could be shoving money down your throat... Oh wait I think he pulled that in this episode, too.
The Dash employees totally seemed ditzy and dramatic. They crossed the line, which was really stupid of them, but then again the E! producers probably obviously told them to.
Furthering all things inappropriate, Khloe point blank tells Scott that she thinks he is a sociopath. He freaks out on her. She tries to embarrass him at work. All Kourtney wants to do is protect that little nugget of a baby, Mason. Khloe needs to tone it down. Then again, Scott needs a Valium...or five.
Ah, just another week in the world of twisted reality TV.
Chris Brown BET Awards Tribute to Michael Jackson: Tears Flow For the Man in the Mirror
Last night's BET Awards featured lots of big names - Kanye West, Usher, T.I. - but perhaps the most talked-about performance came from Chris Brown.

The embattled singer, who has kept a relatively low profile of late, provided an emotional tribute to the late Michael Jackson, breaking down in tears.
Chris was introduced by Michael's brother, Jermaine Jackson.
After a lengthy performance featuring the sickest Michael-inspired dance moves you'll ever see, Brown took the mic to sing "Man in the Mirror" and lost it.
Nearly six minutes into the elaborate MJ homage, his voice cracked, he couldn't sing, and at one point he crumpled to the stage in apparent agony.
MAN IN THE MIRROR: For Chris Brown, that Michael Jackson hit took on an entirely different meaning as he paid tribute to his idol on stage at the 2010 BET Awards.
Coupled with the one-year anniversary of Michael's death, the moving moment was made even more so by the song's lyrics and Chris' recent past.
The 21-year-old returned to the stage later to apologize to his fans: "I let you all down before, but I won't do it again. I promise you," Brown said.
Say what you will about the guy and what he's been through, the performance was actually pretty cool and showed how MJ's music influenced him.
Was that really what it was about, though? Or was it about exploiting Michael's memory for some much-needed positive PR, as some fans have said?

Vienna Girardi to Jake Pavelka: Just Leave Me Alone!
Vienna Girardi is supposedly scared of Jake Pavelka. He says he'd get engaged to her all over again. Another day in the aftermath of the Breakup of the Century.
After a taped reunion interview that reportedly involved Jake making a fist in anger, a Vienna source says she is afraid of Jake and doesn’t want to go near him.
While ABC claims that no one was ever in physical danger, witnesses say the scene was ugly, and Vienna Girardi wants nothing to do with the guy ever again.
“I am afraid of Jake because he is verbally abusive and controlling, I'm afraid of what he might do next," she told a close friend. “I just want to be left alone."
The friend adds that Vienna "just wants a normal life" and is allegedly "starting a regular 9-5 job in marketing" today, which she's really "looking forward to.”

It's been reported that one reason for the breakup was that Jake refusing to put it to her, but he was all over Vienna when it came to publicity about the couple.

While he's hurt by Vienna's alleged cheating, "I'm getting all the Tweets and support from fans," he says. "You guys are going to get me through this. Thank you."
"My goal in life is to make decisions that minimize regrets. I don't regret anything I've done," he said on Good Morning Texas. "It's been the most amazing ride."
Yes, folks, it's been an amazing ride ... broken fake engagement and all.
"I've gotten to do things that most people never even dream of doing, and I sit here [thinking], 'What have I done to deserve this?' Somebody pinch me."

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas: The Outdated Photo Shoot
The July 2010 issue of Teen Vogue is a collector's item. How come?
Because it features a lengthy photo shoot and interview with Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas... even though these two broke up last month!
Fortunately, the singers remain good friends and got together for a second round of questions after their relationship fizzled. But it still makes for an interesting read when Lovato is asked how they originally got together and she replies:
"One night I asked him, 'What is the deal? We're perfect for each other. What are you doing?' And he was like, 'This is really awkward. I have to go.'"
Joe said he had to think it over, but returned to ask Demi out. Which would be a cuter story if the pair were still an item.
To the stars' credit, they are mature and open about their split. Says Joe:
"When I met Demi, I knew right away that our friendship was really strong. I don't want to lose that ever."
It doesn't sound like he will, although Lovato admits "I kind of learned throughout this whole experience that having my private life public isn't as awesome as it might seem."
Jennifer Capriati Rushed to Hospital, Recovering from Suspected Overdose
Former tennis star Jennifer Capriati was rushed to a Florida hospital yesterday, following a suspected drug overdose.
According to TMZ, Capriati - who made her professional debut at the age of 13 and won three Grand Slam titles - was taken away by paramedics who responded to a call from a hotel in Riviera Beach.
Her family says Jennifer is "recuperating at a South Florida hospital from an accidental overdose of medication prescribed to Jen by her personal physicians."
Capriati was arrested for marijuana possession in 1994 and spent time in rehab before a return to tennis a couple years later. in July 2007, she left the game again and admitted to depression, saying:
"When I stopped playing, that's when all this came crumbling down. 'If I don't have [tennis], who am I? What am I? I was just alive because of this. I've had to ask, 'Well, who is Jennifer? What if this is gone now?' I can't live off of this the rest of my life.'"
We hope she finds the answers and makes a full recovery.
Report: Landon Donovan Knocked Up British Chick
U.S. soccer star Landon Donovan may be facing a crisis much bigger than his team's elimination from the World Cup this past weekend - a forthcoming love child.
A newspaper in the UK will allege that a British woman is pregnant by Donovan, who is separated from his wife, actress Bianca Kajlich, but not divorced from her.
His relationship with Kajlich became the subject of great interest last week after they shared an emotional phone call following his winning goal against Algeria.
Donovan, who played for the Liverpool football club Everton this winter, blew her a kiss during an interview, fueling speculation that the couple might reconcile.
"It would surprise no one if Landon and Bianca were back together very soon," said one of her friends. "They have remained in contact and are very close."
Landon Donovan is separated from wife Bianca Kajlich. The fact that he may have fathered a love child with someone else may not aid his bid to reconcile with her.
The identity of Donovan's baby mama is unclear at this time, as is how Bianca will feel about his attempts to win her back if this love child rumor proves to be legit.
Regarding the pregnancy rumor, Donovan did not deny it might be true, telling Sports Illustrated's Web site: "I was informed of the possibility during the World Cup."
"If I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support," he added. "This is a private matter, and I will refrain from further comment at this time."
Donovan has spent most of his career in the U.S., but played on loan in Liverpool earlier this year, becoming a fan favorite - apparently with one woman in particular.
He was a hero for the USA at the World Cup, scoring three goals and guiding the team to the knockout phase, where they were eliminated on Saturday by Ghana.

Vince Neil Arrested For DUI
Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil was arrested early Monday in Las Vegas on a DUI charge. The rocker is still at the Clark County jail pending a court appearance.
There are no further details at present, but if Neil was indeed driving while inebriated, it would appear that he's learned little from a checkered personal history.
In 1984, Neil was driving drunk when he had an accident that killed his passenger, Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley, spending 30 days in jail.
The timing of the incident is also unfortunate for the 49-year-old, given that both his new CD, and his forthcoming memoir, are titled Tattoos and Tequila.

Yankees star Alex Rodriguez may have hit his 11th home run during last night's game, but his most exciting trip around the bases took place hours later!

A-Rod and his New York teammates were in Los Angeles over the weekend to take on the Dodgers, and the slugger may have a new good luck charm.
After parading around with Kate Hudson and winning his first World Series with the Yankees last season, might Cameron Diaz fit the bill here in 2010?

He has eyes only for Cameron now, however. Reports have surfaced for months regarding the two grinding on each other and so on. It's totally on.

Angelina Jolie Considers Kids, Marriage, Movies and More
Perhaps sick of concocted cover stories in which she played no role - did you hear Brangelina is over?!? And Brad and Jen are sneaking around?!? - Angelina Jolie sits down with the latest issue of Vanity Fair and opens up about a number of life issues.
Among them: the possibility of more children; an eventual marriage to Brad Pitt; and whether there will be a Mr. & Mrs. Smith sequel. Excerpts are below...
Will she have more kids? “We’re not opposed to it. But we want to make sure we can give everybody special time. They’re kids now, and can play together, but they’re going to need a lot more talking in the middle of the night, like I did with my mom for hours. We want to make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well.”
Will she and Pitt ever get married? “it’s just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment [than marriage]. It’s for life.”
Will she quit acting? "I’m very, very grateful, it’s a fun job. It’s a luxury... But I don’t think I’ll do it much longer. Because I have a happy home... I got back from work last night, and everybody was playing music and dancing and I suddenly found myself dancing around with a bunch of little fun crazy people.”
Will she and Pitt ever co-star in another movie? “I’d love to. We’ve talked about it. We’d have to figure out who’s going to watch the kids, but it’s really about finding the right thing, because we’ve looked. When you’re a couple, there are certain things people don’t want to see you do. It becomes too indulgent, too personal.
"I don’t think people want to see people who are really together intimate on-screen. Maybe we have to play bad guys that try to kill each other, so it’s just fun and aggressive, not dealing with some man-woman deal.”

Vanessa Hudgens Has Also Grown Up
Miley Cyrus isn't the only young actress making a point of telling the world that she's all grown up.
She's just the only one who feels the need to do so by simulating a same-sex kiss with a back-up dancer.
Vanessa Hudgens, conversely, is giving interviews to magazines in which she talks about taking on more mature film roles (such as the daughter of a drug addict in next year’s Beastly) and admits that she actually dislikes life in the spotlight.
Here are a few excerpts of such a discussion with the new issue of Glamour:
On pressure to be a role model: When I am around kids and they come up to me, of course I am going to act a certain way, but at the end of the day, I’m doing this for myself. I’m going to be doing movies kids can’t watch.
On attending public events: I can’t breathe, and I get claustrophobic. It’s a very odd business. I do it because I love acting, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to it.
On bonding with boyfriend Zac Efron: Right off the bat, we had a connection. I think everybody could see it. When we had our audition, they paired us together. And he was adorable.
On her nude photos scandal: I think that it has made me stronger. But it still hurts. It sucks because [the photos were] supposed to be private, but at the same time a lot of actresses do it [in movies]. Eventually, I’m sure that I will. But I don’t know if I would be able to do it now.
Has she grown up too fast? Maybe. And maybe that’s the reason why I am silly at 21. But I don’t regret it. And if I wasn’t how I was when I was younger, I wouldn’t be how I am today. You know? And I love the way I am today.
On her love of denim: A, it goes with anything. And, B, if your jeans hug you the right way, you feel like a sexpot. [Laughs.] And they get better with age!
Tiger and Elin Woods Reunite For Daughter Sam's Birthday, Barely Keep it Civil
For Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren, it's no longer a question of whether or not they'll remain together, but whether or not they'll remain civil toward each other.
The pair reunited for the first time in months this past weekend to throw a birthday party for their daughter Sam, but were just barely civil with each other.
According to sources, the party for Sam (whose birthday was June 18, during the U.S. Open) was scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday and was to last two hours.
Tiger didn't show up until 4:55, however, and he brought his office manager Kathy and another woman with him, making Elin Woods understandably angry.
Fortunately, "they put aside their differences for the good of their daughter when a big birthday cake rolled in," a source familiar with the situation revealed.
RELATIVELY AMICABLE: Tiger and Elin's relations could be better ... and worse.
"Clearly this was Tiger trying to make it up to Sam. He wasn't there on her birthday so he wanted to have a party for her and be there," the source added.
Despite the strained relationship between them, "Elin went along with it. Despite their differences they both want to do what is best for their children."
In any case, Tiger and Elin spending time together for Sam's party was a rare event, even though Elin lives in a rented house approximately a mile away.
He's already playing the field again, supposedly. Whether those rumors are true or not, things have passed the point where reconciliation seems possible.
Sources close to the pair say that Tiger and Elin are about to sign a divorce settlement and that it's almost official, although nothing has been signed yet.
Taylor Lautner on Eclipse: It's My Favorite!
When fans ask Taylor Lautner to take his shirt off, he politely declines, but points them to June 30.
That's the premiere for Eclipse, of course, a film that will once again deliver plenty of Jacob Black in the semi-buff.
The man behind that amazing torso spoke to Matt Lauer on Today this morning and first showed his gratitude for the part he plays in general, saying:
"I embrace this role and this franchise. It's done many things for me, I give all the thanks to it and I'm having the time of my life with it."
As for Eclipse, Lautner doesn't need to sell the movie, as it will clearly make hundreds of millions around the world.
Still, he and Kristen Stewart have been promoting the heck out of the third Twilight Saga flick for weeks and he said today:
"Eclipse is definitely my favorite of the series. I feel like Eclipse takes everything about the franchise - the romance, the action, the danger - and it takes it all to the next level."
Sandra Bullock-Jesse James Divorce: A Done Deal
Sandra Bullock didn't waste any time.
Not even four months after Jesse James' affairs with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and other assorted hoes became exposed, the actress' divorce from him is final.
Both Sandra Bullock and her now-ex have signed the final documents, filed and sealed with the clerk's office in Travis County, Texas, within the last week.
Sources confirm the papers make the divorce final, although the contents, including all financial details of their split, will forever remain confidential.
Insiders do say the divorce clears the way for Sandra to complete a single parent adoption, however. Initially, both of them planned to adopt baby Louis.
DONE: Sandra Bullock and Jesse James would have celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary July 16. Alas, dude screwed up big time - literally and otherwise.
Bullock filed for divorce back on April 23, saying her marriage to James "has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."
That's code for "my husband is a cheating jackass."
So what happens to their relationship going forward? It now appears reports of James moving to Texas to win Bullock back were only partially true.
He wants his children to continue to have a relationship with her, and getting away from his other ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder, is an added bonus.
Janine is on parole and can't leave California. Sucks to be her!
Did Mel Gibson Bust Oksana Grigorieva's Grill?
It turns out Mel Gibson's estranged baby mama, Oksana Grigorieva did indeed go to the dentist following a confrontation with the actor on January 6.
The question: Was Mel responsible for the damage she had repaired, or is Oksana just trying to manipulate circumstantial evidence to slander him?
As we reported earlier, Mel punched Oksana in the face - she claims - twice during a heated argument, knocking out teeth and giving her a concussion.
TMZ has since learned there are photos of the damage to Oksana's teeth and records showing that she did in fact go to a dentist the very next day.
Why? That's what's being debated.

Sources close to Oksana are saying that one of her teeth was completely knocked out and another was chipped thanks to Gibson's violent behavior.
Mel's camp counters that he was not responsible for any damage to Oksana's teeth and that they were not actually damaged ... just the veneers.
One source adds, "Mel has no idea what she did after he left the house." Is it mere coincidence that she required dental work after this altercation?
Oksana says she has recordings of arguments with Mel she secretly taped, and that one of the tapes may incriminate Mel in the January 6 incident.

Jay Z Puts the Moves on LeBron James
Jay Z is already a music mogul, a wildly successful rapper and producer.
If he can lure free agent NBA star LeBron James to the New Jersey Nets, though, the team's new minority owner will become a god among sports executives as well.
James becomes fair game July 1, but Jay is already putting on a full court press, with an assist to his close friend Steve Stoute, one of LeBron's marketing gurus.
Stoute, whose firm, Translations, has hooked LeBron up to a number of big corporate sponsors, welcomed James to his birthday party, which Jay Z also attended.

There, LeBron got the full Jay-Z experience: he arrived with his wife Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige was also on hand, and his sister-in-law, Solange Knowles, even DJ'd.
No word if Jay's got sway with James, who recently made news for flaming out of the playoffs amid reports that Cavs teammate Delonte West is nailing his mom.

Ozzy Thrills At Homecoming Show
Ozzy Osbourne thrilled fans with a homecoming show in his native Birmingham, England on Saturday (26Jun10) – his first gig at the city’s Town Hall in almost 40 years.
The rocker played an intimate concert for 400 loyal fans to mark the release of his new album, Scream, on Monday (28Jun10).
Taking a break from his set, he told the crowd, “The last time I played this gig was f**king 1972. It’s good to be back in Birmingham!”
Osbourne played Let Me Hear You Scream, the lead track from his new album, as well as a string of Black Sabbath hits including Paranoid and Iron Man.
Jolie & Pitt Dropped ‘Personal’ Mr. & Mrs. Smith Sequel
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt dropped out of plans for a Mr. & Mrs. Smith sequel when they realized the script would mirror their real-life romance.
Jolie admits she “fell in love” with her current partner on the set of the 2005 film, even though he was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time. They later became romantically involved after Pitt’s marriage ended, and many saw their onscreen roles as married spies as a precursor to their real-life romance.
The Hollywood actress admits the couple, who now has six kids together, had been in talks to revive their roles for a follow-up, but they dismissed the idea after the storyline suggestions became too “personal”.
She tells Vanity Fair magazine, “People have tried. And it’s strange: do we have kids in the movie? We’ve thought about that, but it becomes personal now that we actually have kids. And if we work on it, we pull from our own life, which is funny to us, but you feel strange sharing too much. We did ask somebody to look into Mr. & Mrs. to see if they could crack a sequel, but there wasn’t anything original. It was just, Well, they’re going to get married, or they’ve got kids, or they get separated. Never great.”
But Jolie is adamant she wants to share the screen with her current partner again – as long as they can find a babysitter for their children.
She adds, “I’d love to. We’ve talked about it. We’d have to figure out who’s going to watch the kids, but it’s really about finding the right thing, because we’ve looked. When you’re a couple, there are certain things people don’t want to see you do. It becomes too indulgent, too personal. I don’t think people want to see people who are really together intimate on-screen. Maybe we have to play bad guys that try to kill each other, so it’s just fun and aggressive, not dealing with some man-woman deal.”
Bell Quits Scream
Movie bosses behind the upcoming Scream sequel are scrambling to find a last-minute replacement for Lake Bell after the actress dropped out just days before filming was due to begin.
The It’s Complicated star was due to play a police officer in the upcoming fourth installment of Wes Craven’s horror series, which sees Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox reprise their roles, alongside new talent including Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere.
Bell has now been forced to quit her role due to scheduling conflicts and producers are desperately searching for a new actress to take over.
She announced the news in a post on her Twitter.com page, telling fans, “Sucks: Scheduling conflicts with my current gig means I can’t do Scream 4!” and teased fans of the franchise by adding, “Hey horror bloggers, I know who the killer is…”
Scream 4 is due for release in April 2011.
Jolie ‘Feels Safe Growing Old’ With Pitt
Angelina Jolie is convinced she will "grow old" with her partner Brad Pitt – because he’s the only man to make her feel "safe".
The Oscar-winner has been married twice before, to Jonny Lee Miller between 1996 and 1997, and to Billy Bob Thornton, who she divorced in 2003 after three years.
Jolie has been dating Pitt since 2005 and they now have six children together, and although the couple has no plans to marry, the actress is convinced the relationship will last.
She tells Vanity Fair magazine, “I feel fortunate to have a relationship where I actually feel safe enough to imagine growing old together,” adding, “(We’re not) against getting married (but) it’s just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment (than marriage). It’s for life.”
And the Tomb Raider star is adamant they are not planning to expand their family any time soon, adding, “No, I’m not pregnant, we’re not opposed to it… (but) we want to make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well.”
Fiennes Charged Over Car Crash
Famed adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes has been charged with driving without due care and attention in relation to a car crash in England in March (10).
The explorer, who is cousin to actor brothers Joseph and Ralph Fiennes, was involved in an accident while driving his Jaguar sportscar near Stockport, England on 6 March (10) – the day before his 66th birthday (07Mar10).
Fiennes, who completed a gruelling 42-mile (68-kilometre) nighttime endurance race the previous day, was taken to hospital but suffered no serious injuries, while the driver of the other car involved in the smash was treated for collapsed lungs, broken ribs and a broken leg. A five-year-old boy also suffered minor head injuries.
Police launched an investigation following the crash and have now charged Fiennes with driving without due care and attention.
Lawyer Nicholas Beckett, of Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), says, “I have concluded that there is sufficient evidence, and it is in the public interest, to charge Sir Ranulph Fiennes with driving without due care and attention.”
Fiennes is scheduled to appear in court in Stockport, England later this year (10).
