Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad Rankles Pro-Choice Advocates

On the field, University of Florida senior Tim Tebow is stirring up a great deal of controversy: Will he succeed in the NFL as a quarterback? Will he be drafted in the first round? What position is he best suited for as a professional?

But those questions pale in comparison to the fervor Tebow is creating away from the gridiron.

The former Heisman Trophy winner is slated to star in air a 30-second Super Bowl commercial this season. It will be paid for by the Christian group Focus on the Family and will emphasize the football star's pro-life stance on abortion.

The ad, whose slogan is "Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life," features Tebow and his mother Pam, who ignored doctor's orders to terminate her pregnancy.

The decision by CBS to air the $2.5 million commercial has come under fire from the Women’s Media Center. In a letter to the network, it writes:

CBS’s recent decision to air an anti-choice advertisement during Super Bowl XLIV was outrageous. Even worse is the network’s about face from its own policy of rejecting controversial Super Bowl ads. The Women’s Media Center, and organizations dedicated to reproductive rights, tolerance, and social justice, are urging the network to immediately cancel this ad.

This does make for an interesting case, as free speech advocates will stand by the ad and point to the First Amendment.

Often misunderstood, this amendment has nothing to do with an instance such as this. It simply means one cannot be jailed solely for expressing one's views.

CBS, for example, has rejected numerous commercials in the past, such as campaigns on behalf of PETA, MoveOn.org and the United Church of Christ. It's surprising the network would approve such a clearly controversial spot.

Then again, how can something be "anti-choice," as the organization references above? Tebow isn't mandating an end to abortions, he's simply expressing a view, the choice he'd make if faced with the situation.

"I know some people won't agree with it, but I think they can at least respect that I stand up for what I believe," he said.

Jersey Shore star Jenni Farley goes by JWoww for a reason.

The third photo is a full length, topless frontal shot, where JWoww is again wearing a small wrap around her waist. The pics are shot with "moody lighting." Artistic.

Jenni Farley became a fixture this winter by uttering some of the more ridiculous Jersey Shore quotes, and with an impressive, vast array of cleavage-baring tops.

If you're into that sort of thing (trashy, occasionally violent girls with huge fake boobs), we don't suspect these nude pics will disappoint when they hit the market.

Denise Richards Makes Charlie Sheen Situation About Herself

Denise Richards took time away from alerting the paparazzi to her and her children's whereabouts to sit down with Oprah Winfrey this week.

The F-list actress was asked about ex-husband Charlie Sheen and his recent run-in with the law. Does Richards feel sorry for Brooke Mueller? Does she worry about Charlie's kids? Maybe.

But one of her first replies was to bring everything back to herself: "Perhaps people can understand what I went through," she said.

Richards said Sheen never got physical with her during their tumultuous marriage, but there were "a lot of verbal arguments that got heated that scared me" and led to a restraining order.

"I was in a very dark place," she told Winfrey of the end of her relationship with Sheen. "Especially when I filed the restraining order, I was humiliated. I was scared. I was embarrassed."

To Richards' credit, she worked with a mediator to arrive at "a great place" with her ex. She says she trusts him with their daughters.

As for Oprah, if she keeps having guests of this nature on her show, she may lose her status as America's favorite TV personality.

Will Sex Addiction Rehab Help Tiger Woods?

Is Tiger Woods really a sex addict, or is he just using his stint in rehab as part of a carefully-managed plan to rehab his career? Is sex addiction even real?

Come on, you know you're thinking it too. Tiger was packaged as a upstanding family man for years, why should we assume anything he does is genuine?

You certainly can't give him the benefit of the doubt. On the flip side, if Tiger truly wants to stay married, seeking some kind of treatment is the way to go.

Is Tiger an actual sex addict? We can't say.

If sex addiction rehab in Mississippi is just a vehicle for regaining his wife's trust, though, then so be it. As for whether sex addiction is a real thing, it is.

The New York Times magazine scribe who confirmed Tiger is being treated at Pine Grove is a recovering sex addict himself, and has penned books on it.

Also, Dr. Shari Corbitt, senior executive director at Promises in Malibu, tells E's Answer Bitch that "the chemicals that are released in the brain when people are acting out with sex dependency are every bit as powerful as any substance."

Reports have indicated that Elin Woods - whose texts to Rachel Uchitel exposed the first of what became many Tiger mistresses - has been visiting Tiger.

If the visitation reports are true, it makes sense, addiction experts say, because spouses are usually intimately involved in an addiction recovery process.

"Couples therapy is a huge part of the treatment," says Corbitt, whose Promises facilities also treat sex addiction when paired with substance abuse. "

It would actually be odd if she weren't visiting."

As for what exactly the couple might be doing, experts say it likely starts with Tiger admitting EVERYTHING he did. That would be a long-ass meeting.

Tonya Harding Offers Support to Nancy Kerrigan

Some of you may not recall the infamous run-up to the 1994 Olympics, during which Tonya Harding's ex-husband hired a hit man to club her chief figure skating rival, Nancy Kerrigan, in the knee to better Tonya's odds at the U.S. trials.

Well, that happened. So we can't exactly say we were expecting Harding of all people to speak out and offer Kerrigan sympathy in the aftermath of her father's death.

Daniel Kerrigan died at the age of 70. Nancy's 45-year-old brother, Mark Kerrigan, was arrested for assault and battery on an elder resulting in serious bodily injury.

Despite their adversarial past, Tonya Harding offered support to Nancy.

Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding go way back. Not in a good way.

"Tonya feels very sad for Nancy and her family and extends her deepest sympathy and condolences to them," her rep said in a statement to The Insider.

"Tonya's beloved dad, Al Harding, passed away this past April, so she understands the grief Nancy and her family are feeling at this difficult time."

We wouldn't hold our breath waiting for a reply if we were her, but that classy statement to her skating counterpart does accomplish this much:

True Blood Cast Prepares for Nudity

There are many reasons why fans have flocked to the HBO drama True Blood: violence, action, suspense, a solid cast.

But there's another not-so-hidden secret about the show that has viewers buzzing: nudity. Lots and lots of nudity.

We're not just talking T&A, either. Alexander Skarsgard and the men of True Blood gets plenty nude on an almost-weekly basis.

But that Swedish hunk won't be the only actor to shed his clothing on season three, which premieres in June. Consider these True Blood spoilers, but Ryan Kwanten and Sam Trammell have gone on record with upcoming birthday suit scenes for their characters, as well.

“We joke about who has the record for the most disrobes,” said Trammell (Sam Merlot). “I think Ryan does. But I’m close behind him at this point because I’ve already disrobed like four or five times this year and I don’t think he has at all. I’ve got to fight that out with him."

Source: Tiger and Elin Woods to Remain Married

We've debated if sex rehab can help Tiger Woods salvage his marriage and be a better man. The latter is up for debate, but it seems to have done the former.

Despite his astounding string of sexual exploits, Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren, has called off any plans to divorce the world's #1 golfer, according to reports.

Elin spent last week visiting Tiger in his sex addiction rehab program. Time and Tiger's actions since the scandal broke prompted her not to file for divorce.

Sources say initially, Elin Woods made up her mind to dump her husband after he was linked to more countless mistresses and his secret life was revealed.

But Tiger has begged for a second chance, sought treatment to save his marriage with the help of sex addiction therapy and so far it seems to be working.

"He's told her he's serious about making it work and doing whatever he can," the source said. "The stress has taken a big toll, but she's a strong woman."

Somehow, it looks like Tiger Woods' marriage will survive.

A big reason for her eventual willingness to reconcile? Elin Woods, a child of divorce herself, doesn't want to raise their two little children without a father.

"Elin wants a solid family life," according to a Florida insider, and Tiger wants to hold onto his family and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

"Tiger wants to go back to being a golf star with endorsements," a source told People. "But keeping the family together is the most important thing to Tiger so he is doing whatever it takes to keep Elin from leaving him with the kids."

Even go through a six-week counseling session in which he comes clean about all his dalliances - and then some - with his spouse right there with him.

Not that there are many secrets left, after Elin's texting with Rachel Uchitel blew the lid off his affair and the tabloids uncovered another 11 mistresses.

"This is the rough part where the patient has to admit that he [cheated]," a former patient of the Mississippi clinic where Tiger is being treated says.
