Miley Cyrus Previews Final Season of Hannah Montana

Between the lack of pants and abudance of simulated same-sex kissing, it's easy to forget that Miley Cyrus still portrays Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel.

That series kicks off its final season on Sunday night and Miley previewed it a press conference this week.

"[It's about] her graduating, and seeing what college is all about and seeing whether she wants to pursue her career or go to school and try to live a normal life," Cyrus told reporters. "I can't believe it's already coming to an end, either. I mean, it just feels like we kind of just started."

Will Miley's musical makeover negatively affect her TV show's viewership?

Looking back on the series, Miley credits herself for starting a trend.

"It kind of has opened so many doors for other artists on Disney, too, to be able to involve music and acting and all that. I definitely didn't expect it to take off the way that it did, especially so soon."

But we can't help but wonder: will Miley's transformation into an adult artist hurtHannah Montana? Will she lose viewers, as her latest album clearly lost fans. Cyrus says she can't worry about that:

World Decries Mel Gibson N-Word Rant, Oksana Grigorieva Denies Leaking Tapes

The explosive release of Mel Gibson's racist tirade against Oksana Grigorieva yesterday coincided with a scheduled court date between the feuding camps in L.A.

The parents of eight-month-old Lucia are fighting over custody, and went before a judge in a closed-door hearing regarding the case, which is still under seal.

Splitting in April, the couple insisted the breakup was amicable. But Oksana has since accused Gibson of knocking her teeth out during a January argument.

He denied that allegation, but the leak of Mel’s racist, misogynist, utterly vile tirade exposes just how tense the split was - and what a horrible person he is.

In any case, lawyers for both Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva spent lots of time in court talking about how the secretly-recorded tapes of Mel were leaked.

Oksana's lawyers "vehemently denied" that she was the leak of the tapes she allegedly has, and the judge never determined where the leaks came from.

A restraining order prohibiting Oksana Grigorieva from releasing tapes of Gibson is in place, and the judge made it clear to everyone to put a lid on it, STAT.

Lawyers for both sides complied and said nothing as they left. Public figures ranging from Jesse Jackson to Gloria Allred had no intention of staying mum.

Feminists are enraged at Gibson's profane outburst and his use of "whore" and "c**t" in reference to the mother of his child, among other choice quotes.

Having also alienated African-Americans - Mel said Oksana's outfit may lead to being "raped by a pack of n***ers" - repairing his image may prove difficult.

After all, it's not a one-shot deal. In 2006, Mel went on a similar rant about Jews and how they are responsible for all wars and all the world's problems.

Another day, more drama for a train wreck. Lindsay Lohan claims, via Twitter, that she was punched by a waitress at L.A. club Voyeur early Friday.

"A waitress just hit me - punched me for no reason," Linds wrote around 1 a.m.

A witness reports, strangely, that Lohan - who sipped Red Bulls and hid her SCRAM bracelet with thigh-high boots on her 24th birthday - is right.

But why? Who just drills Lindsay Lohan in the face without provocation?

Al Gore Accuser: Paid to Tell Her Story?

We reported her accusations in graphic detail last week, but Molly Hagerty, Al Gore's sexual assault accuser, faces myriad questions about her credibility.

Namely, that she went shopping her story for money years after the fact.

Police in Portland, Ore., announced that they are reopening the investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against former the former Vice President.

The accusation of unwanted sexual contact came from massage therapist Molly Hagerty, who was called to his hotel room at 4 a.m. on Oct. 24, 2006.

Gore says he received a massage, but denies acting inappropriately. Hagerty says that he repeatedly forced himself upon her, despite her objections.

He was never charged and the case was dropped due to insufficient evidence. It's being reviewed, but there are reasons to be suspicious of Hagerty:

Why didn't she just leave?

She said she feared she would be raped, a somewhat dubious claim in itself, or "accosted by some security detail," when Gore had no detail that night.

Why did she wait weeks to make her initial complaint to police?

Hagerty waited six weeks to mention this, but she contends she told her friends immediately, and police may be interested in interviewing those people.

Why did she cancel interviews with police regarding the case?

Hagerty nixed three interviews with detectives about her criminal complaint. Three years later, Hagerty changed her mind again and decided to pursue it.

Did she receive money to tell her story?

The million-dollar question, possibly literally. Hagerty has twice been interviewed by the National Enquirer, which unabashedly and routinely pays sources.

As the Rielle Hunter-John Edwards and Tiger Woods-Rachel Uchitel scandals prove, that doesn't mean they lie. But it does make you question motive.

Chelsea Clinton, Marc Mezvinsky to Wed July 31

Chelsea Clinton and fiancé Marc Mezvinsky are getting married this month. The location is the Upstate New York village of Rhinebeck. Save the date for July 31!

According to a local resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he/she isn't authorized to divulge the information, divulged away anyway on Friday.

Marc Mezvinsky and Chelsea Clinton will wed at a private mansion just outside the town about two hours north of New York City, the Hudson Valley News says.

The wedding will take place at the former estate of John Jacob Astor IV.

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky got engaged last year.

That property is known for its breathtaking mountain and river views and is situated about 70 miles away from the Clintons' family home in Chappaqua, N.Y.

Reports say that a local caterer will be providing the food, while area high school and college students have been hired to help get the grounds into shape.

Chelsea is the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Marc Mezvinsky is an investment banker in New York.

Her divorce all but a formality, Elin Nordegren Woods will very soon walk away from her six-year marriage with Tiger Woods with approximately $100 million.

The completion of Tiger Woods' divorce papers came to light this week after months of speculation over what eventually became a question of when, not if.

A source with direct knowledge says the payout is $100,000,000.

Originally, we had heard that Elin would score $750 million from the golfer, a figure reported by the New York Daily News, MSNBC, the UK's Sun and others.

That number is way, way off ... not that a hundred mill is shabby.

JUST DO IT: Elin Woods will be rid of Tiger, but those Nike royalties remain!

No idea where they got that amount, but it would be hard to pay out that much, given that Tiger Woods, for all his sports godliness, is not even worth that.

His net worth is somewhere between $500-600 million, Forbes says, and they also had a prenup. However, $100 million is more than it would have allotted.

Way more. Guess she had leverage ... a lot of it. Her biggest chip, aside from his 847 mistresses, was confidentiality - the cost of her silence proved steep.

Paris Hilton Arrested For Pot at World Cup

Paris Hilton was arrested in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for allegedly smoking marijuana a few hours ago at a World Cup match.

Not as surprising as the Netherlands' 2-1 win over Brazil, but unexpected!

The socialite was taken to the Mount Road Police Station in St. Croix, S.A. just before 8 p.m., Det. Mark Magadlela later confirmed to local news organizations.

It is believed that Hilton was indeed at the police station but has since been released. No further specifics were given as to why the ho-tel heiress was busted.

Details of Paris' arrest remain murky at best.

Paris Hilton's Los Angeles-based lawyer says the 29-year-old has served her probation period, after her 2007 conviction for alcohol-related reckless driving.

Unlike Lindsay Lohan, her probation is complete (as of January 2010), taking a lot of the potential heat off her from this screw-up, whatever it consisted of.

One TMZ source also reports that Paris wasn't smoking dope, but an officer has reportedly said that Paris was caught red-handed in possession of weed.

Another report suggests it was a member of her entourage caught with the stuff, rather than Hilton herself, but that the whole crew was subsequently booked.
