John Mayer may not have been good to Jessica Simpson, but he was very good for her popularity. According to Jess, after Mayer called her “sexual napalm”, she began getting tons of phone calls from hopeful guys. “My phone is ringing off the hook, I have to say”, she told Oprah during her appearance on her show.

Although it was expected she would touch the forbidden topic of John Mayer when interviewed by Oprah, Jessica Simpson barely mentioned his name, other than to thank him for her increased fame. She acted carefree and made it very clear that she is over her failed relationship with Mayer. In the meantime, a close friend of the Simpsons clan told InTouch Weekly that Jessica doesn’t care anymore about Mayer or even her latest boyfriend Tony Romo, because she has her sights on Reese Whiterspoon’s ex-husband, Ryan Phillipe.

File this under “This family is getting way too creepy”. Everytime I think I am over the odd age difference between Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore something odd happens like this to make me go…”ewwww”.

Demi Moore gave daughter Rumer Willis a pole-dancing lesson at a party at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood. A partygoer told Life & Style that the “Striptease” star “even spun around the pole upside down.” Then Rumer gave it a whirl as Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio cheered her on at the recent bash. “Everyone was cheering, and Leo gave Ashton a high-five,” the source added.

Corey Haim Found Dead – Drug Overdose

The Two Corey’s are no more. Corey Haim died this morning of an apparent drug overdose…possible accidental. Either way it sucks. I was really rooting for this guy. He was 38 years old.

I grew up with The Coreys so this news is pretty sad for me. When will the madness stop? Not that CH was some brilliant artist that could have changed the world..but damn….its so freakin senseless.

Police tell us they were called to St. Joseph’s hospital in Burbank, CA shortly before 4AM PT to investigate. Haim shot to fame in the 80s — when he co-starred in a number of films, including “The Lost Boys,” with Corey Feldman. Haim reportedly suffered a drug-induced stroke in 2001 and was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center.

Corey Haim Turned Down Celebrity Rehab Last Week

Wow. Talk about fate trying to step and save your ass. TMZ reports that Corey Haim was offered a spot on Celebrity Rehab just last week but he turned them down.

Sources connected with Dr. Drew’s show tell us casting producers called Corey. They say he was “extremely defensive and insulted, saying, ‘It’s the last show I’d ever do.’”
Our sources say the 3-minute conversation ended with Corey saying, “I do not need help.”

All the reports say that only prescription drugs were found in his home, so I suppose he was living in that ‘they are from a doctor so they are ok’ world. Chances are he would have died anyway, even if he had accepted VH1’s offer. I read earlier today that he was recovering from the flu, just like Brittany Murphy when he died.

Madonna and her daughter Lourdes are launching a juniors clothing line, called Material Girl. An homage to mommy’s 1985 megahit song.

The Material Girl clothes collection will launch exclusively at Macy’s in August — just in time for back to school shopping! The price points for the clothes will range between $12 to $40 and there will also be shoes, jewelry and handbags.

“Lourdes has an incredible sense of style and her point of view on fashion has definitely been an inspiration for the line,” said Jeff Gennette, chief merchandising officer at Macy’s Inc.

Michael Jackson’s Bodyguards Reveal Secrets

He’s been gone for almost 8 months, and details on Michael Jackson’s life have been revealed by some of his former bodyguards.

In an interview with “Good Morning America” – three of the King of Pop’s bodyguards sat down and spoke about Jackson’s very private life.

The bodyguards who were with the singing icon 24/7 admitted they became “more than just security” as they traveled with Jackson and his kids all over the country.

All in all, during the interview the three beefy men smiled and remembered what a good father Michael was with one of them saying the kids were constantly telling him “I love you, Daddy,” adding the kids were just like regular kids yet extremely polite.

The bodyguards also revealed that they firmly believe their beloved boss was not a pedophile.

After the shocking news of Corey Haim’s death early Wednesday morning (March 10), best friend Corey Feldman has spoken out.

In a statement, Feldman told, “I was awakened at 8:30 this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me of the loss of my brother Corey Haim. My eyes weren’t even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face.”

The Top 8 boys Perform

The top 8 guys on this years American Idol show are up to fire the stage with their unlimited talents. What most of us are hoping is that they give an equally splendid performance as the girls! Nothing better than doing it better than the girls though, that would be an icing on our cakes!
There is no doubt that the pressure to be the best is only rising and the guys better give in more than a 100 %, if not Thursday will be the last day for a couple of them. Thursday is the much dreaded day for most of the contestants, especially the ones who know that they’ve performed badly and not as expected, be it because of song choice or whatever.
The girls were awesome in their performance during yesterday, although there were a couple of them whom you knew didn’t do as well as the others. Katie Stevens came up first, and she didn’t give a stellar performance, although her voice is really amazing. All the judges commented alike.
A few of the contestants that stood out from the rest were Didi (she did a much better job this time with her Taylor Swift like voice). The other one who was top of the chip was Siobhan Mangus who is a talent apart and seemed to capture the audience with her splendid rendition of “House of the Risking Sun.”
The title for the best performance of the night however went to Crystal Bowersox. She is really different and beats the rest of the contestants to it fair and square. Simon in his interview at the Jay Leno show even mentioned that she was his favorite. Her version of Tracy Chapman’s ‘Give Me One Reason” was mind blowing.
Let’s hope the deserved stay back.

The new Iroeo trailer has hit the Internet, and it looks even better than the first.

This trailer reveals a mobile iron man suit, and an army of older iron man powered suits chasing Iron Man, Robert Downey, Jr., and his new side kick, Don Cheadle, who have upgraded suits powered by a more powerful power supply.

In this Iron Man power is the main theme.

The theme song for the movie is called Iron Man, which was created by the group Black Sabbath and released on their 1970 album Paranoid. The lead singer of the band was Ozzy Osbourne.

Corey Haim Dead from Drug Overdose

Corey Haim (38) died at his Oakwood apartment early this morning from what appears to have been an accidental overdose. Rick James died in the same apartment complex in 2004.

Corey’s mother called 911 at 12:53 am after Haim collapsed while trying to get out of bed. Mom said Corey had been sick with the flu.

Corey was pronounced dead at 2:15 am at the hospital.

LAPD found four prescription bottles near the bed, and non of the medications was for an illness. There have been a handful of celebrities over the years who have died after they got sick, and took a mixture of prescription medications while in their weakened state.

Over the years Corey was in and out of rehab 15 times, even more than Lindsay Lohan, but he claimed to have cleaned up after he moved to Toronto in 2004. The toxicology tests that will come out in a few weeks will reveal if Corey was still clean when he died.

In the video below, Corey Feldman was out having some fun with Haim on February 18, 2010 at Haute in West Hollywood. The paparazzo asked Haim how he was doing, and Haim said "doing well," and was looking forward to more work.

Corey was living at the apartment complex with his mother, because his mother had cancer, and Corey was taking care of her until he got the flu.

Corey’s mother, Judy Haim, said:

"I am a cancer victim and Corey was helping me at home. He was a good boy. I’m devastated by his death."

This is really sad. Haim seemed like a really nice guy.

Johnny Weir Stars on Ice Scandal

The gays are trying to make an issue out of everything related to Johnny Weir. Evan Lysacek beat Weir for the Olympic Gold medal, so Evan got a spot on Dancing with the Stars.

This time the gays found out Weir did not get invited to appear on Stars on Ice, and they started a petition to get Weir hired, while trying to make the case that ticket sales will suffer without Weir. The gays are even starting rumors saying Stars on Ice say Weir is not "family friendly," which may be true the rumors are libelous.

Weir may be a star to the gays, but he is offensive to many other people. Weir doesn’t represent how most people see a professional skater, and when a skater like Weir refuses to fit the image he is left with no work, and one choice, to go on his own world skating tour. Weir could get investors, and invite other skaters to join him. If a Weir tour isn’t feasable then maybe he should consider turning down the volume on his gayness so he can make a living.

There is no reason the rest of the world should be forced to accept someone they find weird. Weir is free to be himself, but he risks alienating the very people who pay his bills. As an example, a person applying for an executive position at IBM might need to cut off his dreadlocks before applying, so he can fit the corporate executive image. If Weir won’t do it, then that’s his problem.

What Weir and his supporters fail to realize, is with Weir surrounding himself with so much controversy no one will want to hire him.

Mario Lopez and Courtney Laine Mazza Are having a Baby

Mario Lopez (36) is going to be a dad, and the mom is Broadway dancer Courtney Laine Mazza.

A friend says Mazza is three months pregnant. The couple have been dating since early in 2009, and have no plans to get married.

Mario was married briefly to Ali Landry in 2006, but the marriage was annulled.

I hope this relationship works out, and baby has a happy family to grow up in, but what are the odds with a couple who both work in show business?
