The Situation: A Former Stripper

Mike Sorrentino is known as The Situation on Jersey Shore.

He is also known as the guy who refers to himself in the third person (by his nickname no less) and walks around with no shirt pretty much constantly.

Well, before The Situation became a Jersey Shore cast member, the dude was used to situations in which he wore no shirt ... or pants for that matter.

We're saying he was a stripper.

According to TMZ, which unearthed classic pics of The Sitch, he was a member of the "All American Male" exotic dancer crew back before MTV stardom.

Mike Sorrentino worked for the group, which gyrates from New York to New Jersey, back in 2004. He now manages a gym on Staten Island (of course).

Rumor has it The Situation gives a "great lap dance." Maybe he could use that as a selling point to woo Sammi away from the juicehead guido Ronnie.

Kate Walsh: Dating Neil Andrea

Guess her rumored boyfriend is no longer rumored.

Kate Walsh walked hand-in-hand with her new man Neil Andrea during a shopping excursion in Los Angeles over the weekend. And that wasn't all.

The couple looked very much in love as they kissed over lunch, while Walsh's parents, in town for a visit, casually read the paper at the table!

NeNe Leakes: Still a Real Housewife

Following rumors that she and frenemy Kim Zolciak might be fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes is finally addressing the chatter.

She told Sister2Sister Magazine that she hasn't heard anything negative about her status on the Bravo series and:

"This is all I can tell you. Every housewife has been invited back."

Reports have indicated that Leakes and Zolciak were demanding larger paychecks, along with many other "diva-esque requests." This is truly shocking for any regular viewer of the show... NOT!

Added NeNe:

"They try to lock you in for a number of years. We all signed up for a third season when we signed on from day one. If anybody has been fired, nobody knows anything about it. We know nothing about it. I don't know where the rumor came from."

Leakes also denied that Tameka Raymond, Usher's ex-wife, would be cast on the show.

Tiger Woods' Father: Marriage is Unnecessary

Sunday's New York Times featured several articles on Tiger Woods. The most interesting one centered on Tiger's relationship with his kids - and his dad Earl.

Karen Crouse recalls how at the Masters tournament in April, Tiger was warmer than usual, talking about how he loved being at home with his two children.

The writer then cites a quote from Earl Woods, who died in 2006, in which he said, "I've told Tiger marriage is unnecessary in a mobile society like ours."

Tiger's father left his first wife (and three children) for Tiger's mom. It seemed the younger Woods was proving his father wrong ... but apparently not.

Such a statement from Earl Woods obviously carries more significance now, in light of the ever-expanding string of alleged Tiger Woods mistresses.

Will Tiger Woods' marriage end as a result of his cheating? Multiple reports suggest that Elin Nordegren will leave him soon, while others suggest Tiger is pulling out all the stops and she is somehow still on the fence.

Woods' father has popped up in the scandal several times before.

Tiger's high school sweetheart, Dina Parr, said Tiger "would be so upset" by the affair his father allegedly had with at least one woman while married to his mom.

One of Woods' alleged mistresses, Jamie Jungers claims she and Tiger had sex the night his father died. She claimed the two had "wild" and "crazy" sex.

Woods' mother, meanwhile, is said to be "hurt, angry and disappointed" by the scandal which has tarnished the reputation of the world's #1 golfer.

Janice Dickinson needs to get a room.

And a life.

The attention-starved former model, who has made headlines in the past for claiming she murdered her father, has resorted to Speidi-like tactics in order to be photographed by the paparazzi.

Over the weekend, Dickinson and her boyfriend were standing outside Barney's in Los Angeles. Upon spotting a photographer, Janice simulated oral sex on her man and then stuck her tongue in his mouth for all to see. It was a gruesome scene.

Hailey Glassman Questioned By Cops; Jon Gosselin's Lawyer Says She's Going to Jail

The NYPD has questioned Jon Gosselin's ex, Hailey Glassman, about burglarizing Jon's apartment, according to reports. No charges have been filed ... yet.

Glassman, accompanied by her attorney, was questioned last night.

The note that was left behind (with a knife) when someone ransacked Jon's apartment was signed with Glassman's name. Of course, anyone could have written it.

Jon is called a "cheater" in the note, which was stuck to Jon's bedroom dresser, but there's no reference within the note to the raging destruction of Jon's NYC pad.

The NYPD fingerprinted the scene, but since Hailey Glassman used to live in the apartment with Jon until last week, that's not exactly going to prove much.

While Hailey is obviously innocent until proven guilty and should be treated as such, Jon Gosselin's lawyer, Mark Heller, is not giving her the benefit of any doubt.

"Hailey Glassman is going to jail. It's a simple as that," he said.

Oops! I may have trashed your place with a butcher knife!

Heller spoke out after Hailey's attorney told Radar Online that the situation appeared to be a "huge publicity stunt" and someone is trying to frame Hailey.

Heller fired back that security video will prove that it was Hailey who trashed Jon's apartment Saturday and left with his plasma TV and other belongings.

He revealed that Jon's favorite Louis Vuitton shoes were shredded by some type of knife and a Ming vase that was in Jon's family for 100 years was shattered.

A Radar Online source says Hailey has admitted to writing the note, but there's no proof of that, or of what Jon's lawyer says, no matter how passionate he is.

"The building security tape will not lie and the evidence will speak for itself," Heller said, adding with his usual subtlety and tact, "Jon feels like he was raped."

Lovely imagery and not at all overdramatic, Mark.

You do have to wonder who else had the means and the motive here. There is real bad blood over rent money and things much more personal between them.

Ivana Trump Yells at Kids, Gets Kicked Off Flight

Ivana Trump, the first ex-wife of the Donald, was escorted by sheriff's deputies off a flight Saturday in Palm Beach, Fla., after she screamed and cursed at kids.

Trump was seated in first class and apparently became irate as children were ran up and down the aisle screaming, Palm Beach County sheriff's officials report.

Flight attendants on the NYC-bound Delta flight told deputies that they tried to calm the visibly upset Trump by offering her another seat and headphones.

She instead became more belligerent.

The plane was just leaving the gate when the incident occurred, and things got so bad the pilot decided to pull back to the gate and call for help, officials say.

The 60-year-old used the "f" word toward the crew and passengers, including children. Officials said she began screaming in vulgar terms for children to shut up.

Deputies asked Trump to voluntarily exit the plane, but said she refused numerous times. Deputies then "physically escorted her off the aircraft," officials said.

Ivana, who last week filed for divorce from her third husband, has not been charged in the incident, and the FBI says they declined to investigate the matter.

Deputies said Trump repeatedly cursed at them as well. We just hope she doesn't find out where they live and leave an angry note attached by butcher knife.

Angelina Jolie Will Totally Kick Brad Pitt's Ass, But Thinks Fidelity is "Not Essential"

Despite settling down with Brad Pitt for the past four years, Angelina Jolie (supposedly) says she doesn't think monogamy is required for a healthy relationship.

"I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship," Germany's Das Neue magazine quotes the outspoken, possibly unstable mother of six as saying.

"It's worse to leave your partner and talk badly about him afterwards."

The 34-year-old, who often denied sleeping with Pitt when he was still married to actress Jennifer Aniston, said this freedom applies to all aspects of their lives.

"Neither Brad nor I have ever claimed that living together means to be chained together," Angelina added. "We make sure that we never restrict each other."

However ...

Real or imagined, these two have quite the relationship.

Just because she gives Brad a bit of leeway in the relationship department doesn't mean Angelina won't stand her ground. And oh, can things get violent!

"The sparks fly at home if the nice Brad fails to see that he's wrong and reacts in a defiant way," she said. "Then I can get so angry that I tear his shirt."

So basically, he can do what he wants ... unless she determines that he's wrong and he won't admit it, at which point his ass is going to get whomped.

Sounds like most relationships, actually.

Jolie still maintains that she was not a homewrecker, despite meeting Brad on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

"To be intimate with a married man, when my own father cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive," she allegedly told the publication.

"I could not look at myself in the morning, if I did that."

Tyra Banks Announces End to Her Talk Show

Note to Tyra Banks: if you're trying to dispel the notion that you wanna be the next Oprah Winfrey, you're going about it all wrong.

(Also, you really suck.)

Just like Winfrey did last month, Banks has announced the upcoming end of her talk show. She told People magazine today:

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show. I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years.”

The self-serving gabfest - which Banks used as a vehicle to make a name for herself and draw attention to supposedly controversial issues such as vagina care - will come to an end in the fall of 2010.

After leaving the air, Banks will focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a New York-based movie production company. According to an insider, Banks wants to bring “positive images of women to the big screen.

In an open letter, Tyra wrote on her website:

“There’s a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart. And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a Tyra Show. I really love you all.”

Johnathon Schaech and Jana Kramer: Engaged!

A hearty helping of congratulations is in order for Johnathon Schaech and Jana Rae Kramer. The pair got engaged on December 22.

Said Schaech, who was previously married to Christina Applegate:

"It was the best present ever. It was the happiest moment of my life."

Schaech started dating the One Tree Hill actress when the two co-starred in the 2008 movie Prom Night. They got engaged in his hometown of Edgewood, Maryland.

"I can't wait to make Jana my wife and have a family," he said.

Adam Senn Receives Lohan Stamp of Misguided Approval

According to reports, both Dina Lohan and Michael Lohan approve of Adam Senn.

Based on their history of decision-making, that doesn't say anything good about the model.

Senn, a former star on MTV's The City, is Lindsay Lohan's latest sex toy. The pair attended Ali Lohan's 16th birthday party together last week, where witnesses spotted them cuddling, smiling and actually not snorting cocaine.

"Dina really likes him," a source told The New York Daily News. "She thinks he is good for her."

As for Michael, the dangerous dad wasn't invited to Ali's celebration. But he jumped at the chance to get his name in an article, telling the newspaper about Senn:

"If he's a good guy unlike me and he has no addictions unlike me, and he's a good influence on her unlike me, then God bless him. It's a good thing."

Russell Brand and Katy Perry Might Be Engaged

He's a notorious ladies' man; they just started dating in October; and no named sources have gone on record with confirmation of their engagement.

For those reasons, we're hesitant to officially announce that Russell Brand and Katy Perry have agreed to marry - but that's exactly what Great Britain's The Daily Mirror is reporting.

“Russell knows Katy’s the one for him," an insider told the newspaper, saying Brand popped the question during a pre-Christmas ski trip. “He’s never been into a girl like he has with her and they’re besotted. He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes."

Brand and Perry will tie the knot in 2010, the source claims.

If this article is true, we'll be one of the first to congratulate Brand and Perry. They do look cute together, don't they?

“Katy’s thrilled with Russell and how he is ­making so much effort," the insider said. "Russell also has the ­approval of Katy’s ­parents and everyone in the pair’s close circle knows about the ­engagement.”

Chris Golightly: American Idol Hopeful

So it begins.

While we're still two weeks away from the January 12 premiere of American Idol, THG has uncovered an early contestant to keep an eye on: Chris Golightly.

The Justin Guarini (and Sideshow Bob) lookalike is featured in a new commercial for season nine. We can confirm that he receives a golden ticket to Hollywood and that he has a great voice.

Why else might Golightly advance far on Idol? Two words: great backstory.

The singer refers to himself as "Orphan" because, well, he actually is one. Golightly says he was raised in various foster homes and turned to music when he was six because he could tell his story through singing. Might that story conclude with an American Idol title?

Someone is Actually Dating Jaimee Grubbs

Note to random, thirtysomething dude dating Jaimee Grubbs: don't leave her any voicemails.

According to sources, the woman that truly exposed Tiger Woods as a cheater (by playing his shady message on her phone for all to hear) has found a new boyfriend. He's a bartender in Los Angeles that also sells snowboarding equipment.

"They have been hanging out as friends for about a month, and she's been staying at his place for the last two weeks," an insider tells E! News. "But they didn't become an official couple until a few days ago when she referred to him as her 'boyfriend.'"

That's an improvement over what she allegedly referred to Woods as: her putt buddy.

Grubbs and this mystery man appeared in public over the weekend. They attended MyHouse nightclub's BE Design event.

"They want to keep their relationship under wraps, so they kept it mellow at the event," said the source. "Jaimee walked the red carpet alone, and the two connected inside."

Yes, we live in a society where Jaimee Grubbs is now walking a red carpet.

This insider adds that Grubbs' boyfriend is "shy" and that he and Jaimee actually dined with Derek Hough and Joanna Krupa, as they were all seated at the same table.

Was Grubbs texting a certain successful golfer at any point? It doesn't sound that way.

"She doesn't have any contact with him at all," said the friend. "None of her friends even mention Tiger."

Grubbs must not be friends with any tabloid newspaper editors.

Movie Director Tried to Warn Brittany Murphy About Simon Monjack

Brittany Murphy may have been buried on Christmas Eve, but husband Simon Monjack still can't rest in peace.

That's because new sources and reports continue to link Monjack to credit card fraud, mounting debt and visa violations, among other shady charges. The fact that he won't shut up raises a few questions for many, as well.

Take George Hickenlooper, for example.

The director, who was close to Murphy and almost cast her in the role of Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl, said he approached the actress about her plans to marry the British screenwriter. He advised against it.

"The last thing I told Brittany is: “Do you know this guy? I mean do you really know him? Do you know what you are doing by marrying him?'" Hickenlooper said this week. "At this point, Brittany became angry and told me she knew Monjack better than anyone and then hung up on me.

"A few months later I tried to phone her to see if she was alright and Monjack would not let me speak to her."

Monjack has come under fire since his wife's death because many prescription pills were found by her bedside.

Asked about the medicine, Monjack's defense isn't exactly re-assuring.

“I know what the inference is by all those pills," he told The Daily Mail. “That she was some kind of addict, but addicts hide away their pills. They do not leave them on the nightstand like Brittany.”

That's true. Unless the addict's significant other is enabling his/her habit.

Hailey Glassman Tweets Defense of Alleged Apartment Ransacking

When it comes to the recent ransacking of Jon Gosselin's apartment, Hailey Glassman would like to quote Shaggy: It wasn't me!

In response to allegations that she broke into her ex's residence and destroyed its surroundings like Jon destroyed his marriage, Glassman Tweeted on Friday:

"FYI that apartment everyone calls Jon's apartment was my apartment as well. We split rent!"

As for Hailey's future behind bars - as promised by Gosselin's attorney over the weekend - Glassman's lawyer tells a very different story:

"I think Mr. Heller went too far, saying that she's going to jail... She's not a suspect. She has not been arrested," Stephanie Ovadia told E! News. "She did nothing wrong."

Ovadia admits that security footage shows his client hauling away valuable items such as a big-screen television, but: "She only took what was hers."

No word if Jon's dignity was on that list.

Meanwhile, two (horrible) people from Jon's past spoke to E! about the events and are on Team Hailey. Take it away, Michael Lohan and Kate Major!

"Something sounds very fishy to me," said Major. "Jon should focus on getting his own life together and stop trying to ruin other peoples' lives."

Et tu, Mr. Lohan?

"I have come to know Hailey and I do know her attorney. Stephanie is one of the most integritous people I know, and I have never known Hailey to lie."

Spotted Partying: Tiger Woods & Rachel Uchitel?!

This is getting ridiculous.

We know Rachel Uchitel has been spending time lately in Palm Beach, Florida. We know Tiger Woods' yacht is docked in Palm Beach, Florida. We know someone supposedly spotted them together around said boat on December 23.

All circumstantial evidence or hearsay, to be sure.

But now Entertainment Tonight claims Tiger, who's gone AWOL since wrecking his car and reputation last month, was partying there last night - with mistress #1 in tow.

Not that ET is gospel by any means, but we honestly wouldn't put this past Tiger, no matter how hard he is supposedly working to salvage his shattered marriage.

Is Rachel Uchitel still doing Tiger Woods?

The entertainment site claims Rachel Uchitel was spotted holding hands with the world's #1 golfer and mingling with about 300 other partygoers Sunday night.

The location? A private mansion in Palm Beach.

Reports also surfaced that the couple partied together Saturday at the Everglades Club in Palm Beach. Would they really be able to without pics getting out?

You wouldn't think so, but then again, you wouldn't think Tiger freaking Woods would have been juggling 11 mistresses (and counting), now would you?

All we know is that if this is true, there must be something completely irresistable about Rachel Uchitel, because that chick wrecks homes like it's her job.

Elin better ask for the yacht in the divorce.

Brooke Mueller 911 Call Confirms Knife Attack

Like the quality of Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen finds himself in a bad situation.

Earlier today, Colorado police released the 911 call the actor's wife, Brooke Mueller, made from the couple's home on Christmas Eve. Sheen was arrested that evening on charges of second-degree assault.

On the phone, Mueller says her husband "has a knife" and is "packing to leave," supposedly because authorities are on the way. Stating she's in a secure room, away from Sheen, Mueller also says she is "scared for [her] life" and she was "threatened" by the weapon.

Approximately halfway through the conversation, the operator asks Brooke to identify herself and her attacker. She breaks down in tears when uttering the name "Charlie Sheen."

Late last week, Mueller recanted the accusations against her husband. Her blood alcohol level at the scene registered .13, far over the legal limit in Colorado.

Still, as everyone that's ever drunk dialed can attest to, one can be wasted and still be telling the truth. The 911 call - which you can listen to below - appears to be damning evidence against Sheen.

Sources state Sheen grew enraged when Mueller demanded a divorce, while other insiders say she moved out in November and the actor flew in to Aspen just to spend the holidays with his sons, Max and Bob.

Another Bachelor Shocker: Contestant Cheats on Jake Pavelka... with Crew Member!

This season of The Bachelor is sub-titled: On the Wings of Love.

Perhaps, however, it should be referred to as The Bachelor: Bumpy Skies Ahead!

A new report indicates that ABC producers have come up with a new scandal is brewing on set: Sources claim a contestant has been sleeping with one of the show's crew members.

"She's been having a sexual affair with somebody else in the Bachelor House," a woman, supposedly referring to one of her rivals, says on a clip from the show that has mysteriously disappeared from ABC's website.

No way the network purposely leaked that quote and then removed the video, is there?!?

ABC reps refuse to comment on the rumors.

Last season, The Bachelor enjoyed record ratings after Jason Mesnick chose Melissa Rycroft on the season finale... only to dump her minutes later on the After the Rose special and ask runner-up Molly Malaney out instead.

That possibly staged controversy has at least resulted in two happy couples: Rycroft is married to Tye Strickland; while Jason and Molly are engaged and adorable.

Report: Britney Spears Had an Abortion

She's shaved her head, flashed her crotch and married her high school friend during a drunken night in Las Vegas.

But there's one Britney Spears scandal that the press has been in the dark about... until now, if you believe The National Enquirer.

The supermarket tabloid reports Spears reunited with ex-husband Kevin Federline two years ago. He allegedly knocked her up, only to deny being the father when confronted with the pregnancy, and Spears went through with an abortion as a result.

Moreover, she's still dealing with the repercussions of that decision.

During a recent meltdown, a source told the newspaper Britney cried "I killed my baby!”

The abortion leaves Spears as a downtrodden mess during the holidays, as this anonymous insider said:

“Britney fights depression every Christmas season, but this Christmas has been one of the worst for her."

Might Spears want to include this as yet another ridiculous gossip story written about her in 2009? It's possible.

Should you leave Britney some cheerful holiday messages even if the allegation is false? Yes. The troubled singer likely needs encouragement from her fans anyway.
