Taylor Swift might have raised her middle finger to John Mayer in a new single, and may have apologized to Taylor Lautner in another song off her upcoming album, but don't get the singer wrong:
She isn't bitter about her love life or sad over her single status. Quite the opposite, in fact.
"Being single is wonderful and I love it," Swift says in the latest issue of People. "I don't ever have a morning where I wake up and say, 'I really need to find a boyfriend today.'"
Taylor admits there have been "extreme joy, extreme pain [and] extreme curveballs" in her love life, but she gets through it all by writing song after song after song.
"I will say everything in my music," says the 20-year-old pop/country sensation. "Sometimes when things impact you so intensely, it takes writing a song to get over them."
