John Rabe Review

Reel Review: This is a movie that was released in May of 2010. It was released by Strand Releasing. The cast is full of awesome members too. This is one of those movies that is based on a true story.

What’s Inside: In this true story John Rabe tells of a Gernan businessman who rescues more than two hundred thousand civilians during the Nanking massacre in China. The movie is derived from the 1937 diaries that belonged to John Rabe. They were the only source used to make this movie and the material in them. As followed along in the entries he had made.

Wrapping it up: This drama shows how Florian Gallenberger has taken a portrait of a man that was somewhat of a saint in china to this day in fact. However his courage was never rewarded the way it should have been. John Rabe could’ve gotten into a lot of trouble had he got caught however he made sure there was a way out. There is also a movie trailer for the John Rabe movie and it has scenes from different portions of the movie. This can help you decide if you want to go see the movie in theaters or not.
