Stars Donate Time, Money to Earthquake Relief

First, Brangelina stepped up.

Now, many other celebrities are coming through with donations to those affected by the massive earthquake in Haiti this week.

Gisele Bündchen "was so moved, she knew she had to do what she could to help," a source said of the model. So she's donated $1.5 to the relief efforts, as over 100,000 people are reported dead following the 7.0 quake.

Madonna has also given $250,000 to the cause, while Wyclef Jean (a native of Haiti) is raising money for the victims.

"We have to raise a million dollars a day. In four or five days, this whole country is going to be in chaos," Jean said on Fox's Special Report with Bret Baier. "We are calling for a state of emergency. Please, President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – we have to do something for this country."

Meanwhile, George Clooney will host a special telethon on January 22. It will raise funds for the battered Caribbean nation and be carried simultenously on ABC, NBC, CBS, The CW, HBO and CNN.

How can you play a role in this nation's recovery? There are many organizations to which you can donate, but we recommend the American Red Cross. Anything you can afford will help.
