Alice In Wonderland Reaches One Billion Dollar Mark World Wide

An historical milestone was met for the movie Alice In Wonderland today as it reached the one billion dollar mark worldwide. This movie is sixth to join the elite, coming in just behind the Titanic and Avatar.

This is a movie that has been able to showcase some of the best special effects and also amazing 3D footage. The movie has an all star cast. Johnny Depp along with others made this movie phenomenal. And the marketing teams joined with the exhibition partners using every chance available opportunity to bring this movie to fans all around the world.

There were records being broken in all directions the week it was released into the movie theaters. This made producers and the director very happy. It was the biggest March opening in history of the movie industry. The opening was the biggest 3D event in career openings for Tim Burton the director.

There have been so many individuals that have gone to theaters more than once to see this movie. They have gone to see it just to take someone telling them they have got to see it. Promising that they won’t regret it, then the chain reaction just kept going and now the movie is one of the best and well known in movie history along with a few others. Alice has had a number one position for six weeks which in essence resulted in more that one hundred million dollars to date. And more in different areas of the world.
