Ocean of Pearls Review


Reel Review: The Ocean of Pearls movie was released in May and is doing well in theaters. It was released by Lightpost Pictures. It is a drama. It is about a handsome young Toronto transplant specialist, a visionary who is offered the opportunity of a lifetime.

What’s Inside: As a position as a surgeon at a Detroit hospital’s esteemed transplant center. He does take the position, leaving his family, friends, and hometown. But there is a mess of disagreements upon his arrival at the hospital until people get to know him to a certain degree. There’s even a girl that likes him after awhile. Then there’s a clash with the hospital chief. The board has decided that someone else should have his position. He also discovers that there is another surgeon as well. After his altercation with an incompetent surgeon and he’s the new guy. So, they haggled with him instead of the surgeon that has been there.

Wrapping It Up: As he sees that this is going no where he wonders if he has made a mistake, because there are members of a family, such as a senator which would be more likely to clinch the donation than a turbaned and bearded Sikh. While he fears that his danger of not being named chief of transplant surgery, he does what ever it takes to get him back on track at whatever cost that might be.
