The Oath Review

Reel Review: This movie was released in May and has been doing well in theaters. It was released by Zeitgeist films. It is a documentary and a gripping story about a political thriller shot on location in Yemen. It was high risk film making and the Oath is without a doubt a tale of two men whose fateful meeting threw them into different directions all on a course with Osama bin Laden.

What’s Inside: The documentation of a taxi driver in Yemen and a free man, while the man he recruited, his brother in law. He is the first man to stand trial before the Military commissions. This documentary is ultimately hard to keep up with unless you watch it from beginning to end. There are parts that will captivate you and keep you wondering what is going to happen next. It tells how certain men became Bin Laden’s body guards and how not one person could seem to get to bin laden. As the man stated above is on trial they are quick to find military lawyers of some type. The Yemen characteristics and charismatic as well as unusual procedures don’t give them a lot of time.

Wrapping It Up: According to this documentary it is to teach muslim students and journalists in a cold revelation of his personal 9-11 belief. It is an unsettling look at the international impact on the US war on Terror and a rare window into the world of Al-Qaeda. Teachings of what war and terror truly are in the Yemen world and how the concept of finding Osama Bin Laden has been so hard. People are forced to hide him and others are afraid of him, this is why he hasn’t been found yet. And one thing you don’t do is upset the group of Al Qaeda.
